Excellent aparthotel

Posted 08-Oct-2014
Cons: The position of the hotel is the only thing that can be faulted but I a sure if the hotel was moved to the seafront it would double in price
Excellent apart hotel about 15 mins walk to Paphos seafront and a little longer to the harbour The hotel has was refurbished recently and some new accommodation added. There are 4 pools (2 adult only) and always a lot of sunloungers spare. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed self catering though most stay on an inclusive basis. We ate in the hotel once and it was fine. Everyone we spoke to said the food was good although repetitive if you stay for more than one week. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel and will return.

Fantastic Time!

Posted 08-Oct-2014
Pros: Everything - room facilities, food, pools and relaxing areas
Cons: The only thing was the gym was a little disappointing - multi-gym broken
Location: Nice walk to the harbour and beach - fantastic choice of restaurants near by and close to bus stops so it's easy to get about
Wonderful hotel, friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough to help! Superb facilities - overall 100%

Well run apartments

Posted 05-Oct-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Double matress for double rooms and wider variety of pillows
Location: 25 minutes stroll from beach/harbour. Lots of restaurants and cafes, shopping centres, historical sites. Good location for visiting Troodos Mountain
We were looking for a good quality apartment complex and the King Jason proved to be just what we were looking for. The apartments are run extremely well headed by the General Manager who is very 'hands on' and is regularly visible during the day to attend to guest's needs which is not something you would often see. All staff especially the front desk are friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was well catered with everything of a good quality and in good condition. The only negative we found was that the double bed was in fact two singles pushed together and the pillows were not very comfortable. Other than that, we have absolutely no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You may want to bear in mind that these apartments are a 25 minute stroll from the beach/harbour which was not an issue for us but others may find this too long a walk.

This is a 4 star hotel but we found it worthy of 5

Posted 04-Oct-2014
Pros: Welcoming friendly staff, very helpful on reception.Excellent facilities, excellent food.....great.My husband also enjoyed the well equipped gym.
Cons: We have been informed there will be spa facilities from next year.
Location: Great location, within walking distance to lots of amenities.
The hotel is excellently positioned for access to the harbour and old town, both within walking distance, also within walking distance to shopping mall with Carrefour. The hotel has a lovely friendly feel and all staff from the cleaners to the general manager are always ready to help and made our holiday special. The facilities were excellent and they had thought of everything. The food was fantastic with an amazing choice every time.We stayed in a studio which was well equipped with first class facilities. The hotel has undergone a refurb last year and is due a further upgrade this year,I can only say they will be improving on perfection. You really never need leave the hotel but you must as there is lots to see in Pafos. We had a fantastic time and would never normally revisit a place but will definitely be going back to the king Jason.

Beautiful hotel, short walk from everything u want

Posted 29-Sep-2014
This was mine and my partners first proper holiday together and we wanted to get everything right. After reading countless reviews for different hotels we decided this was the one for us and we wernt wrong which is why I want to leave a review for others. I couldnt fault the place and that's being completely honest. Always things to do as such a short walk to the harbour, seafront, bars etc etc. We maybe should have gone half board or at least had breakfast included but were glad we wernt all inclusive as although the food was lovely and varied, we got to see so many things and meet the locals. We had 12 nights here and it was just perfect. I strongly recommend this hotel to the young and old and whether you're after relaxation or a bit of fun :)

Great apartments, excellent facilities.

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: Favourite thing was excellent spa pool, great place to relax and catch the sun.
Cons: Free wifi in main lounge was poor, probably to encourage you to buy wifi access for room.
Location: Hotel is on outskirts of Kato Pafos, no beach nearby, but old town and harbour can be reached by local bus or taxi, or approx 15 minute walk.
We stayed at the King Jason in August 2014 in a one bedroom apartment. Good sized bedroom with two very comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe and storage space, large sitting room and kitchen area, great for self catering. Great, friendly staff, excellent buffet style restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for good prices. Three different pool areas with comfy loungers and staff offering drinks and snacks. Excellent for families as well as couples, quiet and relaxing.

The staff make this hotel special!

Posted 04-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff, the hydro pool and the adult reading room.
Location: Hire a car if you possibly can to explore the Island and see Tooras Mountains, Coral Bay, Sea Caver and the Harbour.
A brilliant hotel made so by its exceptional staff. Andreas the manager works tirelessly to ensure that all guests are looked after, their needs (however unreasonable) are met and has a sense of humour that makes me laugh even now. Maria works alongside him and is there for every guest a smiling presence that works hard to ensure that everyone is treated like a VIP guest. On reception Maria brings Cyprus to life with her knowledge, passion and love for her island she was one of the main reasons that we came back for a second visit (something I have never done before). The older gentleman on reception not only gave us maps but wrote out directions for us – including places where we could take photographs and we loved him for it. The hotel itself is immaculate, the room we stayed comfortably accommodated four adults and the pools were great. food is freshly cooked and abundant but there is no compromise on quality again the waiting staff were there to take care of you attentive but not obtrusive.

Nice Hotel, some disappointments

Posted 17-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
Nice room, lovely pools and overall a nice enough hotel. A few small disappointments; Shower- drain cover broken, shower would make a hissing noise every couple of minutes then get really hot, lights in bathroom above mirror broken Room- good facilities (well equipped kitchen, toaster, kettle, microwave etc) however air conditioning quite noisy and two single beds pushed together instead of a double Pools- fabulous hydro and infinity pool and lovely main pool although saw cats drinking from the pool on a couple of occasions which is a bit disgusting! Also quite noisy as close to the road and tree trimming which went on for the week around the pool and still wasn't finished by the time we left!! Safe and parking- 3.50 per day for the safe is very expensive and can't see why they charge so much! Also not many parking spaces considering size of hotel Location- in a reasonably quiet neighbourhood about 10 minutes walk to restaurants/bars and 20 mins to the harbour. Nice beach in coral bay is 20 mins away by bus Overall, an alright hotel but slightly disappointing

Lovely hotel.

Posted 09-Jul-2014
Pros: Every thing at the hotel was very good
Cons: If there was one improvement it would be a little entertainment in the evening.
Location: The location is residential so not anything to do close to hotel. Can walk to the harbour in about fifteen mins
The staff were very friendly, could not do enough for guests. The food was very good.
