Only reason I put down 2 stars was for the late night receptionist who tried his best to help. All the fabrics are stained/dirty looking, furniture had graffiti on it, they didn't give us enough towels, blankets or pillows. Shower/bath faucet was disfunctional. Tv broadcasting was limited to about 10 channels and TV was cracked. The worst of all are the the sketchy transients, tweakers, traffickers and dealers that are always being loud and causing disturbances. Was told the Jacuzzi worked and it wasn't when I got there. Only reason I stayed at this place was because I was tight on money. But avoid this place and go the extra 30 bucks if you can, it's not worth it, especially if you have children with you. I will not be going back!

There was kids running up & down the hallway screaming, seems like they “live” there. Had to tell front desk to make them stop as this was nighttime and my child was asleep. Other than that, okay place to rest.

When we arrived place was littered with trash on premises children were running and screaming throughout hallways drug addicts were hanging out on the premises room wasn’t cleaned smelled of mold and smoke tub was filthy with ring of dirt and floor was unclean as well walls had holes and writings

This particular establishment as a pretty large problem with transients in the parking lot at all times. Wasn’t sure what type of “deals” were going down, but it was a little unnerving. However, I’ve never seen a guy who looks like a pirate walk around the parking lot for so long in a row but in my life so that’s a thing. The room itself was acceptable however, the chairs in the room were quite filthy. The bed was clean. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay and don’t mind the sorts of things, then it’s fine. I had no problem with security or interactions however, probably not the best place for a family.

I made this unfortunate reservation for visiting family. Twice when I came by there were people who made me feel unsafe loitering in the front, in the parking lot, by the trash bin (need to drive by to get to restaurant), and hallways. I witnessed two people exchange money and small item near the entrance, just an observation not sure what they were purchasing. I was disappointed because good location and had thought the area was being cleaned up.

We read reviews that the property was family-friendly, affordable, and clean. The staff was kind and the room was better than expected. But we are a family with several young children and unfortunately, we were uncomfortable staying due to perceived criminal activity taking place openly in the parking lot and building. We did not want to risk the loss of our life, liberty, and property. We took the financial loss and not to stay. There is no security and the parking lot is public and shared with a liquor store, subway and Ihop. Stay there at your discretion.

Its a very old run down hotel. Holes in the wall. The pool is shared with people who live in apartments in the back. The rooms werent very clean. We had to do our own cleaning. No ice in the ice machine. Guests were smoking on non smoking floors. The only good thing about hotel was its walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm

Filthy.
After I got the key to the room I went in the room to check it out and upon entering I basically immediately had to leave. The smell was so overwhelming and it seemed to have a film of filth in the air that, I swear, stuck to my skin. I didn’t even bring my bags to the room before I went right to the front and told the clerk I would not be staying there. He said he refunded the room back to hotels.com. I then booked another room through hotels.com at a days inn.

The property parking lot is not fenced, some dented cars , hallways and room are very dirty, some yelling at midnights, some homeless people with tattoos are hanging around there, don’t feel safe

This hotel is very sketchy at night. There's people waiting outside for you to unlock the gate with your key which makes you feel unsafe. Staff nowhere to be found. Random people walking the hall ways. Save your money, sleep in your car instead if this was your only option.

Sketchy, but walkable to theme park
Good location right next to Knotts berry farm and amazing breakfast restaurant Broken Yolk. Easy walk to both. Staff was friendly and helpful. Property was sketchy. Overall place is dingy and in disrepair. Parking free on site but hotel generally uncomfortable. No free breakfast as advertised.

I truly cannot believe that Expedia would represent a property at such a low level as this one. There were a group of people hanging out in the parking lot and a few of them were trying to get in the front door of the hotel that was locked. From the action by the guy at the front desk of seems to be a common issue. Asking them to go away and them trying to get inside to visit a friend or so they say. There’s a very rundown hotel and I think there are some long term guests at the hotel. The sheets seemed clean but when you look closer they had stains on them and the floor of the bathroom was disgustingly dirty with hair and dirt. The one positive thing I can say about this property is that it is in walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm.

Stay away, save your money
Hotel is very run down, full of homeless people. Inside the room was not clean, neighbors smoking weed all night, other neighbors dog barking all night. Mattresses were thin and uncomfortable.

I want my money back
It was horrible. It smelled. The beds were made of metal, loud & uncomfortable. We left before midnight because the people in the other rooms were so loud we couldn’t sleep. It was my daughters birthday to top it off. Also when I went to complain the man walk away from me (middle of the night)! Left me alone, I had to rush him back my family was in the car waiting! The point of the trip was to check in, go to knotts scary farm and crash for the night. Wake up in the morning check out and go have breakfast and be home. Instead, it ruined my daughters birthday and was a waste of time and money. Not to mention there were a lot of people on drugs walking around the whole time asking people for things. We felt very unsafe there, so much my wife insisted we left early. The man insisted on not giving my money back as well. I felt helpless and furious. No body messes with my family’s money I have a new born I can’t afford to waste money like this. Please help get my reembursment back I believe it was $150 my family would greatly appreciate that also I would love to recommended this app to friends if you would just help make this right

Worst hotel ever, I waited for more than 2 hrs bc they didn't have my reservation. I spent 2 hrs in the phone talking with Expedia, and the hotel. The room was dirty, bed with stains, towels full of hair, and a bad smell

The only good thing is the location because it really is about a 5 minute walk to Knotts Berry Farm. This place is disgusting inside and out. They charged me even though I had already paid Expedia. They didn't just get my card for "in case" and wouldn't answer when Expedia called so I have to dispute the charge. Everything was literally stained, torn linens, no hand towels, hairs on floor, dresser had no drawers, reeked of cigarettes, homeless outside, staff banging garbage cans at 6am. So loud, people still partying at 5am when we had to get up for the airport (no sleep for me). Pool looked gross too. Absolutely awful.

Never stay here. We didn't expect much but it was beyond awful. There was dried blood on the shower curtain. The deadbolt was broken. The security chain didn't latch. The walls are paper thin. The hair dryer was broken and there was dried urine spatter on the bathroom floor. The saving grace of the one night stay was seeing housekeeping actually stripping beds the next morning and the staff were friendly.That was overun though by the many homeless sleeping in the parking lot just outside the main entry.

My family has stayed several times at this hotel prior to 2020 and the new owner as it’s walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm. The hotel has become so run down, dirty, smelly, and just disgusting. There was busted/missing locks on the hotel door. Families living there and letting their children run around yelling late at night. It’s become an apartment complex more then a hotel. There was no coffee or any kind of breakfast offered, not even a coffee pot in the room or lobby.

Between the hours of 10 PM and 1 PM PM there were children running around the halls screaming unintended by parents When I went to the front desk to complain They told me they would take care of it it never happened The next morning when I was going to check out I asked to speak to the owner And he wasn't there the desktop threw me a sticky note and a pin and said write your complaint down here When when this was the roadway Inn at Knott's main gate We stayed here on many occasions throughout the yearsI will never again go back to this hotelAnd I would recommend that you stay away alsoThis is not only a motel now. They are renting out rooms like apartments not a motel.

The pictures do not accurately represent the facility at all. Our room was supposed to be smoke free, but reeked of cigarettes. There were brown stains on the shower curtain, a hand print on the bathroom wall, the bed was uncomfortable and thought it was going to break. Then in the hallway to our room, we noticed a few places that looked like pools of blood stains. There was no room with coffee like the pictures showed. The pool/spa were closed due to them waiting on the health department. Any questions asked to the front desk were answered with an attitude. And lastly, upon checking out and leaving, 3 cop cars pulled up. We got out of there before anything happened. If I could've found a different room in time, I would've canceled that room.
