I am a function over form individual at this point of my life. We have stayed here many times and have never had a problem. The location, across the street from the Disneyland Resort and not charging for parking(the most ridiculous thing that hotels charge you to park when you are staying at the property) make it a perfect choice for a reasonable priced stay while visiting Disneyland. Will not be confused with a high priced resort, but all hotel rooms look the same with your eyes closed. One issue this time however, when we checked in we were told that upgraded us to a double queen. Bigger room, good for us. Got to the room, note hanging on the door saying due to construction the water would be turned off for a few hours. Not great ,but might not be in the room at that time. Had to take a break, got to the room and no water was the least of the inconvenience . Pounding on pipes and power tools making so much noise had to leave the room. Front desk, you need to tell the whole truth paying guests. Fibs by omission are still fibs.

We stay at this location quite often. And up until this trip, have had nothing but a positive experience. However, this particular stay was not enjoyable in the slightest. The inn is having work done in a number of rooms, which is absolutely not the issue. The issue is that they chose to place my wife and myself in a room that was literally in the middle of two rooms being worked on, without a single word of warning or heads up or even asking if we would be okay with that. We were on vacation and just wanting a peaceful couple of mornings before getting ready to head to Disneyland, but that did not happen. Around 7:30/8am on both mornings we stayed, there was pounding, drilling, music, and all manner of noise on both sides of us. Even the workers refurbishing the rooms were surprised that the hotel chose to put guests in the room we were given. Again, the fact that they were having work done on rooms was not the issue. The issue was that the hotel put us in that room in the first place and completely disregarded to warn us about the disturbance and did nothing when I mentioned it at checkout. If you are a guest considering staying here, it’s actually a wonderful place to stay. But consider asking that your room not be by the construction being done, otherwise you will have some very loud and disruptive mornings.

Review for room #133: 20 minute walk to entrance to Downtown Disney is nice. Walls are very thin; could hear everyone walking and talking outside and above us.. I thought the window was open, but it wasn't. Very nice staff and nice to have a refrigerator and microwave.

This was an awesome location if you plan to go to Disney! It’s in a convenient location, clean rooms, great customer service, and we were able to park and leave our vehicle at the hotel prior to check in!

Great location, clean, wonderful customer service. However the walls are thin. We had a room on the first floor and could hear the people upstairs talking all night. Also every thin they dropped, every step they took and everything they dropped. If you stay here, try to get a room on the 2nd floor.

It was comfortable. The room was very clean and a nice quiet area! There wasn’t a closet, although they did have hangers and a rack. It’s very close to the park and Downtown Disney.

Staying in a family room was a good option it has lots of room upon arrival the staff was very nice the room was clean and ready for us on time. The pool was amazing hot tub was ready whenever you needed to relax

We walked to Disneyland thru Downtown Disney. The walk was direct and took about 16 minutes to the security gate and 10 minutes to stroll through to Disneyland. The hotel was quiet and clean. I wish we made time to use the pool and hot tub as they looked nice.

Clean and quiet and a walkable distance to Disneyland! There is a Denny’s conveniently located a couple buildings over for breakfast before hitting the parks. Would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel was clean and had been updated. The bed was comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to the parks and downtown Disney. I would say its about 10-15 minutes to downtown. Not to bad. Overall this is a great option for a place to stay when going to Disneyland.

At first I was kind of iffy about the location and was wondering if it was in an unsafe place. But where it’s located at is very safe and not a long walk to Disneyland. The beds were a little bit uncomfortable but overall it was a really nice hotel especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for an affordable stay, that is clean, close to Disneyland, and good staff, the Alamo Inn should be a consideration. Although the rooms are old school the property is extremely well kept and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is not the quietest property I have stayed at so be aware kids are excited for Disneyland!
