“WiFi was WonderFull”

I needed a little help getting connected via WiFi, but once connected my connection stayed up my entire stay!

“Good Value”

This motel is quite old, characterized by pink and black bathroom tile and worn carpets. However, it had an HD TV, the bed was very comfortable, the heat was at a comfortable level upon check-in, it was very clean and everything worked. I would stay there again.

they could not give directions to any location and they made you feel like you were bothering them

“Too noisy hotel”

The hotel is placed in a convenient location and reasonably priced, however the noise of the highway (very) nearby and the airplanes taking off just above the hotel, together with low level insulation make the stay (and the sleep) almost impossible.

“Worst hotels ever!”

I thought the 1st recommendation was bad, but the 2nd one was worse! The 1st 1 had no A/C in the lobby & place to eat. In the morning everything was running out. THe 2nd one was in a bad area, the comforter was torn, the lamps 1 was broken, the other didn't work, shuttle service w/no name on van, only from 7am-1pm, the person that picked us up was wearing sweat pants w/her son, none helped w/our luggage. No lobby, just 2 scrubby looking employees. One window was open, one didn't lock right, old building! I could go on, but don't want to keep writing!

“A good deal for the location”

No frills, but clean and sufficient. Nice people.

“Does the job”

We stayed here for the final night of a 3 day tour of DC. First 3 nights spent at the Residence Inn, Crystal City (excellent). Inn of Rosslyn is an traditional style motel (rooms off open walkways) right next to the highway, and under the flight path for Reagan airport, although noise was not a problem. Room was 'quaint': dated / faded, but clean and serviceable. Microwave / frdge coffee maker, TV with limited channels. Loved the bathroom which seemed to be straight out of the 50s! The major problem we had was a very soft foam mattress - we literally sank into it and wondered if we would ever get out! As a consequence we were very hot and stiff when we woke. Can't comment on breakfast as we had to leave very early (4am) for a flight. The lady at check in was helpful and directed us to local restaurants for dinner (about 4 blocks away there is a good selection, including Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and steak house. She also arranged a cab to the airport. Conclusion. Other than the mattress, would stay there again.

“If you're not into looks...”

The Inn at Rosslyn was very conveniently located within walking distance to the Iwo Jima Memorial Monument and Arlington Cemetery. As for an Inn...well it's a motel, but clean & comfortable. It's not a 4 star hotel, but the staff kept our room clean & tidy during or 12 day stay. No bed bugs, no dust, & everything worked fine. We chose this location for economic reasons & it proved to be a good choice. Everything in the area was more than twice the price. Continental breakfast was included & the donuts & bagels were fresh & delicious every morning. They provided free shuttle service to the Metro daily until 2PM & free WiFi for the computer. If you can get past the exterior tackiness...the place is great on a budget.
