Great location. Overall far too many minor/medium issues for a hotel of this level/price. Examples: Escalators not working, vending machine not working, toilet running continually, tv issues. Overall had a great trip but level of upkeep of property was below expectations.

We stayed here for two nights before our cruise. It was my first time staying in New Orleans and it was a blast. Everything about this hotel was great with plenty of options of things to do. Also walking distance to basically anything you want to do.

I stayed five days and on the fourth day my sink exploded, and all this black debris came out of the sink and spilled all over my belongings. Hilton promised that they would reimburse me for the damage and reimburse me for two days of my stay. To date I have not received any refund. Poor SERVICE and no follow through.

Fabulous hotel overlooking the Mississippi River and really close to cruise ship terminal. The best part was the outstanding breakfast buffet, the absolute best one I've ever experienced. It was like a high end restaurant, so many choices, lots of New Orleans cuisine. I would choose this hotel again. It's fairly close to Bourbon St, Jackson Square, and shopping.

Awesome location, amenities, cleanliness, comfortable rooms and beds. They have room service even though I wish they had an entree for vegetarians. Great hotel, though out of our price range, so we stayed here for one night of luxury and spent the rest of our visit to NOLA at a lovely hostel called The Quisby.

It’s a good hotel that’s near the French Quarter and Jackson Square/St. Louis Cathedral. The area is safe. If the hotel puts you in Buildings B or C, you’ll have to walk a little more than normal.

This is a great hotel for staying in New Orleans. It’s huge and anonymous (which I liked) but staff are helpful. The breakfast is fantastic - a huge choice and really good quality. The room was large and clean with good facilities. We tried one of the pools and it was surprisingly warm and my children loved it. Just a couple of niggles - the signage is practically nonexistent so we spent a lot of time trying to find things and getting lost. Most of the lifts and escalators were broken so we had to use the service lift (and apparently they’ve been broken for weeks…) and the shop never seemed to be open which was annoying when we’d hoped to use it for snacks / drinks for the children. Overall though, a great place to stay.

AC was not cool enough. The shower had growths all in the grout on tile. The beds were HORRIBLE!!!! I complained to the staff about everything and they just sent someone that said they worked on the AC but it was still way too hot.

The only surprise I had was when I checked in and was told there was a $25 resort fee per day. The lady who checked me in said if I spend money with the hotel each day, I will get $10 back per day at the end of my stay. So, for three days, I had to pay $75 and at the end of my stay, I believe, I received $10 back. So ... what really is the deal? I enjoyed staying at The Hilton Riverside in New Orleans. I thought I had paid everything before I came but no. Extra charges. That was the only surprise I had. Overall, GREAT stay!!!

Great hotel in an optimal NOLA location. Came for a conference, so mostly use the local facilities. It is very walkable and close to amenities like the Mississippi river and the World War II museum. It has a bit of old world charm, but everything was clean and the staff were excellent.
