“Great Hotel apart from the buggy TV System.”

Hotel room was impressive, shower great, clean, well decorated. Reception staff very helpful. Free bus trip into the station at Bergamo with convenient pickup at station at 4pm also very good. The combined TV/messaging system and website was painful to use. I had to get the batteries replaced in both the TV remote control and keyboard. Then the system crashed with "thread error" messages once, with picture movement pixelation a few times. Using the keyboard was also a pain. Also you have to know that the infrared sensor on the TV is at the bottom and so gets shadowed if you put the keyboard on your lap. However all said I would still recommend it. Try to avoid the rush hour at breakfast from about 8:00 to 8:30. Evening meal extras were a touch expensive, so we eat elsewhere.

Area recommendations
About 10 minutes walk away was "downtown" Mozzo. The 1st bar on the left was fairly friendly, cheap and cheerful and accepting of our halting italian.

“156 students having a party all over the hotel”

Holiday Inn Express Bergamo-West: Nice hotel, rooms & beds with good quality. During our stay, over 150 students were staying in the hotel, making lots of noise in the corridors so it was hard to get some sleep. Maybe we've had just bad luck. Without the students, it's a great place to stay in the Bergamo area. But just to be sure, I would ask the hotel about wether or not having students in the house during your stay.

“Very nice hotel”

Very nice new hotel, not so good location, need have a car Very good breakfast, excellent espresso by coffee machine Free wi-fi, but only for 4 hours period, every time when it expired should go for next code to reception

“Excellent value and good quality breakfast”

If this Hotel is typical of the chain, they are offering wonderful value. No frills but good room with hot drinks. Good choice at breakfasr with freshly squeezed orange juice (that was a surprise). Well done.

“Gute Schnellstraßenanbindung, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis”

Wir reisten mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) an. Die Vierbettzimmer waren gut ausgestattet und ausreichend groß. Das Hotelpersonal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Vom Flughafen ist das Hotel mit dem Mietwagen gut und schnell erreichbar. Fußläufig ist um das Hotel herum ist nichts erreichbar, ein Auto ist erforderlich.
