“Good place to stay”

Although a bit cramped, this is a very good place to stay if you want to meet other travellers and locals, and be in the center of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful, and beer is available at the front desk. You can't beat the price compared to a Moscow hotel!

“Cheap and cheerful”

This is about the only way to describe this hostel located in the heart of Moscow and situated on the doorstep of the main tourist sites. It is primarily a young person's hostel, but everyone was very friendly, spoke English and it felt like one big happy (if chaotic) family. It was the lowest cost place I could find and for a couple of nights it was fine, especially as it was within walking distance of most things, including the metro. I would consider it again for a short stay.

“Great Value for Travelers on a Budget”

My stay at Napeoleon Hostel was the first time I ever stayed at a hostel and it was a very positive experience. It is centrally located -- within walking distance to the major attractions in the city as well as the metro, restaurants, shops, banks, and bars. It is acceptably clean, and the staff is courteous, attentive and helpful. For the money it offers cozy, clean accommodations, friendly atmosphere, and a great location in one of the most expensive cities in the world. I would definitely recommend Napoleon Hostel and stay here again.

Auberge très bien située, plein centre ville. Employés aimables et parlant parfaitement anglais. Wifi et ordinateur libre service. Points négatifs: dortoir à 8 lits et petits casiers.

“Een van de mindere hostels”

De kamer op zich viel mee echter het feit dar er slechts 2 douches en 2 wc's waren voor het hele hostel is te weinig. Bovendien is er geen aparte ruimte om s'avonds bij elkaar te zitten, iedereen zit bij de balie. Dit is zeer storend als je komt inchecken.Daarnaast moet men via deze balie naar de wc cq badkamer. Wat dat betreft zijn de hostels in Nieuw-Zeeland en Australië beter geregeld

“同室者次第で快適な宿泊になる”

マイナス点： 道路に面したところには看板がないので場所がとても分かりにくかった。エレベーター無しのビルの４階なので、重いスーツケースの人は覚悟あれ。途中の階段踊り場が喫煙所になっていて、煙の中をかいくぐって玄関に辿り着く感じだ。ネット申込み段階では男女別部屋だった筈なのに、実際は部屋は全て男女混合。私が宿泊したのは二段ベッドが4つ入った8人部屋の上段。下段のポーランド女性がサイドテーブルからベッド下からベッドの階段まで全部自分の荷物で占領し、私はスペースが無くて困った。上段は上り下りが不便な分、逆に他人に侵入されにくく、プライヴァシーが確保しやすかった。鍵付きロッカーはあったが、一人で幾つも占領する先客がいたので、貴重品はベッドの上で管理した。 一般ホテルなら無料であるパスポート登録料に800ルーブルも掛かった。 プラス点： コンセントの数は十分。洗濯乾燥機、シャワー、トイレは各２つずつ。トイレットペーパーも消臭剤もあった。キッチンには一通りの食器と鍋、電気ポット、電子レンジ、ナイフ・フォーク・スプーンに食器洗い洗剤まで全て揃っている。紅茶・コーヒー・スープも無料で使えた。枕カバー・シーツ・布団カバーは全て洗い立てで清潔。大きなバスタオルも支給される。 ネット環境は完璧。Wifiが無料で使い放題。管理者パスワードは受付で教えてくれる。とても使いやすい地図(地下鉄路線図付き)もフロントにあった。市内観光がメインの旅行者なら、ロケーションは抜群。赤の広場・ボリショイ劇場などは徒歩15分圏内。 個人的感想： 4泊5日のうち、3日間を共にした我が儘なポーランド女性のお陰で、朝は7時前に起こされ、夜は全く物音が立てられなかった。同室者が常識的な人間なら、とてもリーズナブルな価格だと思う。訪露目的が観光ではなかったので、私にとっては不便な場所だった。旅行目的なら間違いなくオススメ。
