“Don't understand why Hotel is rated 2 out of 5”

I drove down from NY. My GPS had quit working because the battery died, because Enterprise (car rental) disabled the lighter so I couldn't charge the GPS. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the evening manager went above and beyond her duties. She went to her personal car and got an adapter for the GPS and allowed me to charge it overnight. She did this both nights that we stayed there. I was really impressed. I had no clue where I was or how to get anywhere I needed to for the weekend. I cannot understand why the hotel was rated at 2 out of 5 stars. The room was clean, they provided a microwave, coffee pot, iron, and a blow dryer. The hot tub was especially a hit with my 8 yr old, who was looking forward to using the pool. I would definetly rebook in a heartbeat.

Great value for the price. Everything was as espected. Surprised room had a jacuzzi tub at this rate.

The room was ready when we got there and was neat. We only stayed one night and were pleased with the location of the hotel since it was closed to our event. We would stay there again. The staff was nice. The only thing is the remote didn't work but we didn't really watch tv anyways.

It is an older motel but has had some renovations. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

We were in Monroe for my wife's 50th high school reunion. We have stayed in Monroe before at other hotels and found the Super 8 to be a great value. it was quiet and the room was quite large. The Sagebrush restaurant is right next to the hotel which makes it very convenient. We will stay here again.

when i arrived at hotel was a little apprehensive as i am not used hotels where the rooms are not adjoined. however i was fine when i got used to the environment. the coffee machine in room was old and dirty not used for a long time. staff and rooms where kept clean and i enjoyed my stay the exterior needs a freshen up
