“Great value”

If you are looking for clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced accommodations, this is the place for you. I was a little skeptical at first, but was very pleased with my stay. I don't like to pay for a lot of extras that I don't need, and they had everything I needed.

“University Inn review”

The hotel has confortable rooms and the staff is friendly and willing to help. Kitchen (microwave, fridge, ....) inside room. There is a free intenet acces, and the hotel is located 3-4 blocks away from university and a few restaurants. The chinese one (the one near to the theater) is very good. It is not, however well located: near the highway, and nothing is real close. There is a bus stop (bus#6) nearby, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to downtown, by bus. No swimming pool, and linen is changed only every week, unless required otherwise (paying). Housekeeping on a weekly basis, too. So this is more appartment-like than real hotel service. There is nobody at reception after 7 pm.

“Great value”

For the price I paid this was a great deal. The room was clean and had a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, stove top, microwave and coffee maker. They also provide dishes and utensils. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. There is an extra fee if you want maid service with two levels of service available, but they'll empty your trash free on request. Even if you pay the extra fee it's still a good deal. The location is not very close to the convention center, but Minneapolis mass transit got me there reliably in 30 minutes or less. Buses stop right outside the hotel and it's just minutes to the University of Minnesota campus. Situated right off an I-35 ramp, it's very handy if you have a car and offers free parking. There's free internet access and a free modest breakfast with pastries and juice.

“great stay at University Inn”

clean quiet room with kitchenette for a very reasonable price. great location and very helpful and friendly staff. will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Minneapolis

“Convenient and reasonably priced”

Don't expect the frills of a hotel. This is a great value if you are looking for a hotel near the university and downtown. It reminds me more of an apartment complex than a hotel. The front desk is not always staffed but there is always a staff person on premise. The front door is locked after hours and requires a room key to get in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We stay there at least 3 or 4 times a year and they've never given me a reason not to return.

“Great place on the edge of the University campus”

Great place to stay, staff is friendly, room was very roomy, clean and comfy. There is a mini kitchen in the room if you need one. There is no pool if you are looking for one. Location is great for visting the U and the parking is free. Rare find. Would definitely stay there again.
