Under Construction

Posted 24-May-2015
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Warn visitors that almost none of the amenities advertised are available currently.
Location: Centrally located for visiting McAllen and Pharr.
A week stay reduced to one night because the hotel was under construction, without warning.

Business Trip

Unknown that hotel was under construction. Last day, laundry was closed. Charged me for extra two that I wasn't there. Booted me from my room on the three days in a row due to lack of communication of staff.

Lost all it charm...

Posted 27-Apr-2015
Pros: The room was all ready renovated and was really nice
Cons: The noise of the renovations
The hotel is currently in renovations to become a Hilton Double Tree, so it's noisy after 9AM, it's not good for a relaxing weekend stay. So because of renovations the happy hour and breakfast is serve in improvise meeting rooms. Anyway the staff tried their best to please everyone.

Remodelación

Posted 27-Mar-2015

Other than the construction, it was fine.

Yes, it was nice. But the restaurants and the hotel was under construction. The rooms were very nice.

Weekend getaway

Posted 27-Feb-2015 on Hotels.com
I choose this hotel for the conveinces that go along with Embassy suites. Checkin was fast, the room clean and enjoyable. The mattresses were a bit ntoo bouncy. I had a gig on Saturday, so the kids had a great breakfast and used the shuttle service to shop at the mall. Upon returning, Together, we all enjoyed the complementary drinks and snacks (the bartender was a little heavy handed - very welcomed especially for complementary drinks). All of the staff was very pleasing and warm. Overall, even though the building was dated (a renovation is currently underway) the stay was very enjoyable.
