wow amazing riad i was on the 3rd floor this is a very peaceful riad and has a beautiful courtyard and lounge in the heart of medina so it is 10 yards from the main area it is safe .while i was in this riad there were alot of people from france and couples families and it was so peaceful calm and excellent for value.on the first morning breakfast there was no egg and the following day it was rectified the breakfast is good ,you get fresh orange juice and tea and coffee and french bread with jams etc and cheese and a maroc butter looking bread very tasty.i have to say the service is excellent i mean the whole of the staff give 100% from the cleaners to the management and are very helpful i was here for a week .the lady at the receptinist khadija really is so helpful and polite and the staff saeed ,emaad who serve and lookafter the riad are brilliant.this riad is a family and for people who like peace and tranquility it is not recommended for people who like loud music and noise ,there is a lovely terrace above also .well thats that and the rooms are good and very clean hot water nice big bed and the design is of maroc tiles all round did well will go back again .

The Riad Jade Mogador is well situated in the heart of the medina. The staff and manager are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and immediately make your feel at home. The inner court yard is well designed and makes it easy for tourists to get to know one another. The staff readily chat with you and recommend outings and activities in the area. I would highly recommend staying at this very comfortable Riad.

Monique was an excellent host. She was attentive to our needs, caring for us with everything from her lovely French breakfasts to assisting us with all of our travel/sightseeing arrangements. I would highly recommend Riad Zara for anyone wanting to experience "Old Morocco."

Beautiful, stylish and artistic guest house. Staff were helpful but not intrusive.
Property is tranquil but there is a lot of noise late in the evening from shouting in the surrounding streets. Nothing some good earplugs couldn't deal with!
Very central location.
Onyx room was lovely and more spacious than the others.

Dropped off by a taxi as close to Riad Chamali as was possible, local children rushed to direct us and its true to say we didn't have a clue where we were headed, except down darkened alleys. We saw a hand-scrawled sign saying "Riad Chamali", rang the doorbell expecting 'Lurch' to open it! Behind lay a peaceful haven of calm and tranquility. Exactly what we expected from a Riad: a small plunge pool, orange trees, cute room (ours had an ensuite shower ), a super roof terrace where we took breakfast under the sun, the snow-capped Atlas Mountains in the distance.
We can't praise Marina (French), the Riad Manager, highly enough. She was a wonderful host, advised on prices to pay for goods/taxis, etc, gave brilliant restaurant/club recommendations, made reservations and organised taxi's. Nothing was too much trouble. Mustafa and the rest of her team were equally helpful and pleasant throughout our stay.
Once you get over the fact you think you are never going to find your way to or from Riad Chamali again you realise you are very close to the Palace and local square which has the Kosybar (chilled out venue with lovely roof terrace) and the Tanjia restaurant (great food and stunning belly dancing). It is a 15-minute direct, unhurried, walk to the main Fna square and the Souks, and, at the end of the day, it was a relief to back in the peace and quiet of the old town and in the haven of Riad Chamali.
We are definitely going back. (Ability to speak French helpful here).
