We went for a conference but it almost turned into a vacation. The weather was fine as at when we visited. The hotel staffs were freiendly and the enviroment was very nice. I particularly enjoyed the walk around the resort. Hoping to visit again for a real vacation.
Fantastic hotel the area is very nice and if you looking for time to relax and enjoy yourself away from the busy city then this is the hotel for you. I went with my husband just the two of us I took him there for his birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were amazed by how big the hotel room/apartment is. My husband is a workholic and this was definitely the place for him to chill out. It is about 15-20minutes ride from the City but it is worth it 50-60 Dirham a taxi ride. We did tour the old city and the new City and it was so nice to return to the hotel after a busy day in the cities. The hotel is not far from the Atlas Mountains about an hour away. The breakfast every morning at the hotel was lovely too. It is a hotel that caters for families which is good. If we returned to Marrekesh I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had a beautiful suite with characterful Morrocan furniture. Very comfortable and lovely detail. Lovely paintings in the suite and in the halls. The breakfasts are taken in a beatiful annex by the pool with views over the golf course, and the pastries were to die for. This is also the only restaurant in the hotel and while it is very stylish and has fabulous designer chairs and decor, was not up to the price. The chef was trying too hard to be different, and my sole while fabulous was ruined by the coriander and chic pea covering. Yuk! There are however several excellent restaurants in the Palmerie hotel which is part of the same complex and five minutes walk away through the gardens. We were a little annoyed on the last day to find that on the roof two floors above our room there was a terrace with loungers, settees and an open air jaccussi which no one had told us about. There is a small stylish pool at the hotel but we found the huge swimming complex (and I mean huge)at the Palmerie nicer. There are also good and cheap spa treatments available at both hotels which we can recomend.
Best for families looking to relax and enjoy in style. The hotel is, if not better than the pictures they have used. Staff a really great and friendly. It is an international golf course and the food was not great compared to restaurants, but we was out most days and enjoyed the evenings by the pool... Great experience and will go back any day!!!
Hotel and staff were great, had few problems with hot water in the rooms, but that didn't spoil the stay as the spa area had the hot water. the breakfast wasn't great as they did not have any cereals or toast or fruits. it was hard for them to understand what english tea was.
Overall we had a great time at the hotel even though english speaking was a bit of a barrier.

We had four very relaxing nights at Dar Sabra with our two children (aged 2 and 5). The family room was perfect, the staff very smiley and helpful, and the hotel and grounds very striking design-wise. The whole place is very serene and calm (but still child friendly!)
