Stayed at this hotel for the last 2 nights of our stay in Morocco. Absolutely gorgeous hotel with extremely friendly helpful staff. Rooms were extremely clean and cozy. Food was absolutely amazing. Ate so much but don't regret it. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious.
We booked the Palace Es Saadi not knowing what to expect as we had never been to Marrakech before. It was truly beautiful. The hotel was amazing! We booked a superior suite on the ground floor which was on 2 levels which was great as we had our 10 year old son with us. It was SO spacious and lovely. Everything worked well and was cleaned everyday really well and also a quick tidy up was carried out in the evening. Lovely smelling products in the shower to use too! The swimming pool area was very large so we always had lovely comfy sun loungers and the guys at the pool bar are hard working lovely guys. The breakfast on the terrace was close to our suite and was so lovely to start the day sitting outside with a lovely breakfast and a choice of teas. It was never crowded or manic - just so lovely and peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant on the first night which was delicious but we ate out the rest of the time to try out other places. Will definitely be going back and hopefully soon!
We wanted relaxing, high standard accommodation with a Moroccan feel. This is exactly what we found. The Riad had good space, a beautiful pool area, high standard room with character, a good pool, good restaurant and staff that could not do enough to make our staff comfortable. We were accompanied by our 21/22 year old children who also found the Riad a great experience. The location was a 15 minute walk to the centre of the Medina or a short, well priced taxi ride. We were very pleased that we chose Dar Rhizlane just being outside the Medina because of the extra space compared with Riads located in the Medina and having the benefit of getting away from the noise, bustle and traffic. As well as being convenient for the Medina, Dar Rhizlane is also well located for the new town and good restaurants located there. We also had great assistance in hiring a tour guide for the Medina (essential for new comers) and for out of town tours to the Atlas Mountain area.
Things to be borne in mind. Marrakech is a noisy city and total silence is almost impossible to guarantee. You will hear some traffic noise from within the hotel area but nothing that could be considered intrusive. It is certainly quieter than Medina locations. Also, Morocco does not have European smoking restrictions therefore guests may smoke. This is the case throughout the city and we did not have any experiences at Dar Rhizlane that we, as non-smokers, found intrusive.
We will certainly return.

That was a great experience to stay in Riad.
When we first read review of this hotel, the review was not good. so,we are a little anxious to go there.
however, that was much much nicer than I expected!
hotel is romantic, moroccan style, we had a dinner in the hotel. food was 19E per person for 3 course dinner which is expensive in town. but it is safe to stay in hotel at night and so quiet here. hotel prepared our private dinner at garden where is so nice.
after the dinner, we had Hamamu bath in hotel.
the was another quite wonderful experience we will never forget it!
She did scrub body and mud pack ( I guess? ) anyway our body became a soooo smooth!
we went back room with bathrobe after Hamamu and sleep!
We spent most of our time in this hotel.
that was so safe, nice and relax!!
Everyone were so kind, friendly, nice!!
you know this hotel is not 5star, that why we only paid this amount.
what do you expect more than that!
This is Riad which is different from hotel.
We enjoyed moroccan style very much
Thank you very much !

The riad exceeded our expectations and the breakfast was excellent; taxi transfers to and from the airport were arranged by Valerie and also bookings for evening restaurants; nothing was too much trouble and at the same time we were given privacy and space.
