"well situated hotel right on the beach , and prom"
we had a lovely time, the food is excellent. only complaint is that because its so good you tend to eat too much. we had a basic room but it was very comfortable and clean and well situated for the dining room and bars. Staff were very friendly , always very polite and helpful even if they didn't speak English. which could be quite funny in itself. I suggest a French phrase book or dig deep on those French words from school, which is a fun thing to do. we had four days of storm which is unheard of and my only complaint was that the indoor pool was only open for two hours a day and it was freezing so I am told.. I think they should have opened it up for the four days. I would definitely go again and would highly recommend it.

Went for a relaxing week with my wife. All staff were friendly and helpful although reception was often quite busy. Despite the majority of guests being French speaking all staff speak passable English, especially those who have guest interaction (reception, porters, restaurant, entertainment). The room was a a good size and the bed (two 3ft locked together) huge. The description for the bathroom was a little confusing and you might think there are a 'separate' bath and shower, but the shower is part of the bath.
The evening entertainment was mostly in French but with snake charming you don't really need to know what was being said.
The good was good, there was always a nice range of options to choose from. However (seeing there are quite a few negative comments about the food on here) I will add that this isn't food with the look and feel that you might get if you bought it from Sainsbury; there is, obviously, a Moroccan / French interpretation to it. For example, on the Italian night the spaghetti bolognese had minimal meat in it. It was almost always tasty, just not quite what you might expect.

I came here for a week in mid October with my family to celebrate my 30th birthday. Within the group were my 2 year old twin nephews who were treated so beautifully by the staff who we saw daily and were all looked after by from morning til evening in a gentle yet very earnest way. I would not hesitate in going back here, the hotel is beautiful and rooms are stylish and extremely comfortable. Everyone met you with a smile- staff and fellow guests.

Visited for a short sunshine break and my fiance's birthday. Staff warm and welcoming. Very helpful and polite during the whole of our stay, nothing was too much trouble, cannot fault the staff. Received a beautiful cake at the restaurant totally unexpected by Khadija our hostess; also a second cake arranged by Amir at the pool who gathered the staff to sing happy birthday in four languages!
Soft drinks are pricey at 40Dh for a standard can of Fanta or such like.
Food on the whole was very good however if you order chicken chow mein it will not be as expected from the standard dish in UK. Suggest that you don't order it - very heavy sauce, few noodles which were crispy and on the whole disappointing!
Change you money in Morocco. You will get 3-4 Dh more for your £ - even at the hotel!
Hired cycles for the day at 80 Dh each for 6 hours. Great way to get up and promenade and explore the local area.
Driving a car is not for the fainthearted. Rules of the road are understood only by the locals!!
Always agree the price of a journey by taxi before you get in the taxi. If not you will pay more than you expect.
On the whole great holiday, no troubled stomach and we ate at restaurants along the promenade.

My partner and I spent 4 nights at Timoulay and had a lovely time. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming, very helpful and all spoke excellent English, we speak terrible French! The room was very clean with new towels daily. We had breakfast at the hotel which was fresh and varied. I would recommend this hotel.
We couldn't stop smiling for the first few days. After reading several mixed reviews on Trip Advisor prior to our stay I was slightly trepidatious however our decision to stay here turned out to be fantastic! We we greeted at the hotel by wonderful staff who continually seemed to go our of their way to make us feel special and spoiled. The hotel itself is gorgeous including the lobby with its fine art for sale, the rooms with plush carpet and pool area which our friend swoon over when they see our photos. The location is perfect, right on the beach and an easy walk to the old port with restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet had more options than I've ever seen at a resort before and was of excellent quality - the best fresh squeezed orange juice ever! And the staff really did seem to go out of their way to ensure we had a fabulous stay. The receptionists entertained me and accommodated my poor attempts at french, the waiters and staff at the buffet breakfasts and dinners were so wonderful they alone encouraged us to return for a dinner, and the concierge assisted us with private transportation arrangements and late check out ensuring our trip was fantastic from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.
