I stayed at the Marriott for 6 days with my husband for our honeymoon. It was great; the beach bar staff were fantastic, all staff were friendly, there were lots of activities and things to do at the hotel, and everywhere was neat and clean. We got a cake made and sent to the room when the hotel learned we were on honeymoon as well! It was very sweet and thoughtful of them.
There was a pretty even mix of families and couples, with some groups of friends staying there as well. There was also an even mix of Egyptian and foreign people staying at the hotel. Lots of food choices at all meals, with both Egyptian and western kinds to eat, and the hotel was quick to fix any issues we had with facilities.
Stayed at Hilton Resort Hotel, Hurghada fir 3 nights in May 2014 and enjoyed every minute. The staff were fantastic. The food was varied and there was always something delicious to eat. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

This was our second visit to the Mercure in Hurghada, the staff as always were very welcoming and quite a few recognised us from our visit 18 months ago, especially Marley and Chloe who met us in reception!
As always the food was very good with a great choice every night, the weather was amazing and the room was clean and spacious.
we would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be going back again.

This hotel really does recognise and value repeat customers, some even remembered us.
As a repeat customer we were invited to the GM dinner in the Felucca restaurant - WOW thank you so much for this the food was gorgeous - what a way to value your family (which is how we were made to feel)
We booked a taxi from the hotel to collect us from the airport - the driver was waiting just outside the main entrance for us with a sign.
We booked the Jacuzzi Suite again - if you can these are excellent rooms very large (2 bed rooms & sitting area) and overlook the pool suite. Fresh fruit and wine/beer were waiting for us.
The rooms were excellently cleaned - they check back with you each night with a chocolate to see if you need anything.
The suites also come with the cabana's which are waiter service for drinks at the beach. (no need to move)
Our cabaña was set up each day leaving us with a fresh towel and placing the sunbeds in the position we wanted them in.
The head chef does a fantastic job - food in all the restaurants is amazing with a variety of different foods to suit all tastes.
