"Lovely stay"
Stayed for 5 nights with a friend all inclusive. Hotel staff lovely and could not do enough for us. Food selection great, lots of salads and tagines and wine included in IA is reasonable. Shuttle service to souk which is reliable. Nice layout and impressive foyer as you walk in. Swimming pool well kept and great size no towels on beds behaviour.! Hotel is only 5-10 mins from the airport so easy to get a taxi too. Only shame is we weren't staying long enough.!

"Great hotel with excellent service"
We stayed for 8 nights. A lovely hotel with spacious rooms and a great restaurant. The breakfast by the pool was superb. But the thing that really scores is the staff. All so friendly and wanting to help. I would certainly go back. Also good value.

"Lovely calm place to unwind"
We stayed in late july, just at the end of Ramadan. Everything we wanted to see in the city (souks, palaces etc) were open as usual in spite of our worries. The hotel is a ten minute cab ride from the hotel and they run a very reasonable shuttle service all day. The food and service were extremely good and all of the staff from the receptionists to cleaners were lovely. There were plenty of beds by the pool all the time and it was a lovely contrast to come back from the hustle and bustle of the city to the calm of the hotel. The restaurant was a real treat and we cannot rate the food highly enough!

"Great for a rest from the chaos of the Medina"
This is a huge but nice resort-type hotel. It’s a 30 minute walk to the city (the Medina). Reviewers complain that it is too far from the action of the city but I chose it because it was outside of the noise and chaos of the city – but walkable if you are in decent shape. The walk is flat and a straight shot right into the city and pretty safe. If you walk slower, it is about a 38 minutes .It was generally quiet near the hotel . There is a shuttle bus that ran every 1.5 hours to the city center and Gueliz. It is reliable and it has 24 seats – but it services 2 Mogador hotels & so it did fill up a couple of times and some people were left behind to wait for the next shuttle. It has 2 large, flower-shaped outdoor pools and a kiddie pool. It has a poolside bar and restaurant However, as an Islamic establishment there is no alcohol served anywhere on the premises. The breakfast buffet was fabulous (June 2010). It had Moroccan breakfast (fried flat bread with honey, cheese and olives) as well as a buffet of meats, juices, eggs, fresh fruit and cereal. The service was also very good and courteous. I had room service a few times to and never had to wait long and the portions were generous. The rooms & bathrooms are clean. The bedding is clean but not fancy. The mattress, quite firm. The AC and satellite TV in my room worked well (channels in French, Spanish, Arabic & English). The “business center” was weak -3 computers (French keyboards) but no printers or English keyboards.

"Good Hotel"
Really good Riad in the centre of marrakech. The rooms were quant and well kept. The staff came and met us from our taxi as we didn't know the way there. For the money it's a great place to stay. My only complaint is that because of the design of the rooms you could hear people quite loudly when they were coming or going. Especially at breakfast time.

"Nice hotel-remote location"
We spent 4 nights at this hotel as part of a Cosmos Coach tour around Morocco. The tour was scheduled to assemble at the Zalagh Kasbah, so we checked in there one day earlier for convenience. The hotel is on the grand Moroccan style, built entirely around a large swimming pool and sun-bed area. It was too cool (late November) for any swimming but the pool was carefully maintained daily and was spotlessly clean. The public areas were impressive and the breakfast was perfectly adequate - more Continental than "full English, or American", with only scrambled egg, or pastillas as a hot option. There was plenty of breads, rolls pastries, salad items, cereals etc in the style of European hotels. The only downside was the distance from the hotel to the Centre Ville (ie the Jemaa El Fna Square), where all the sights, souks and mosques are situated. It is some 4kms (at least) and is not on any public transport route. The hotel provides a limited free shuttle service-7 trips daily but the van broke down when we were there. We actually walked into the city using the Kotoubia Mosque minaret as a landmark - there is a pedestrian path lined with rose bushes on the right hand side of the roadway, and the walk is over completely flat land. It took 40 plus minutes. We had no safety concerns whatsoever. Otherwise pay no more that 40 dirrhams for a one-way petit taxi fare - every driver initially quotes 100 dirrhams, which is extortionate. Supermarket 10 mins walk towards town
