Was a last minute booking, greeted very warmly and made to feel very welcome. Only stayed a few nights, wished it could have been longer. We were given good advice and tips. Very accommodating and willing to help with our first visit to Marrakech. Highly recommended.

"Wonderful Riad, great location, comfortable stay"
The riad is very central and makes wandering around the old city quite easy. The rooms are beautiful, breakfast is lovely, and everyone is polite and helpful. It is a fantastic place to stay for all ages, and I highly recommend it!

"Lovely Riad hidden in a quiet corner of the Medina"
Located down a quiet street in the Medina, Riad Al Boraq allowed for us to stay near the centre but also enjoy some relaxing escapism. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, serving mint tea and Moroccan pastries and helping with any enquiries. The terrace is great for relaxing when not out exploring and the pool is great for a refreshing (it's freezing!) dip. Would definitely recommended for anyone looking to stay in the old town.

We had initially arrived in Marakech 4 days before having to check in here. Our original Riad (Riad Bamileke) near Derb Debacci was a nightmare. We had scoured expedia for a deal and stumbled across the wonderful Dar Les Cigones. We booked early on the same day we checked in around 10am and headed over at 2pm to check in.
The staff here are so great, we had a warm welcome at the hotel - tea and pastries and were then taken to our room. The hotel supplies a book of recommended locations and restaurants, even excursions and helped whenever we needed a taxi. The room was great and most importantly quiet. No noise from the staff in the early hours and they honestly couldn't do enough for us. My girlfriend had an upset stomach on our second night and the guy on the door downstairs called one of the off duty members of staff to try and source some prunes and figs to help from the souks. 20 minutes later the guy showed up at the door, fruit in hand.
Regarding the hotel itself, it's located near the old Jewish quarter, directly opposite Palais Badii. Short walk to the souks and also has a lovely roof top terrace for a warm sunny breakfast.
If you've not been to Marakech before, it can be an exhausting experience and having the right hotel/riad to come back to and chill is very important. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone!

My Partner & I stayed here for a week, wanted something a bit different from the usual Egypt all inclusive, oh my we definitely got an eye opening experience.
Firstly don't be put off by the location of the Riad you WILL spend the entire holiday lost despite intense map reading using an iphones compass & trying to read road names.
The Riad was a peacefull sanctuary after a long day of walking around in the heat, cool off in the pool & get the last of the rays on the roof top sun loungers.
We only had an evening meal in the Riad once but the food was delicious, a very traditional meal, peacefull sat by the pool lit by candle light. It reakky is as idyllic as the photos.
The staff were so lovely & helpful. The lady who owns it is the BEST she is brilliant, she really thrives on making your holiday perfect, she will get you the best prices tailor everything to your needs, book everything for you and you really do get door to door service the entire holiday, Don't whatever you do hesitate to ask her.
