Arrived at the hotel earlier than checking time, the room was not ready but the staff were very helpful and wellcoming, serving us mint tea and Morrocan buscuits. The decor is very traditional but more on the expensive look. Our room was very clean, lovely but small with no enough space for both of us to sit down unless we used the bed.
The one thing that lets them down a little bit is their breakfast variety...not like a usual 4/5 star hotel.
In general a good , clean friendly hotel in the heart of the square.
Marrakech is frenetic and full on. This hotel is the ideal antidote, quiet, relaxed, friendly staff for whom nothing is too much; clean and comfortable, and serving authentic local food.
My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and we could not have picked a better hotel (or riad). It has about 20 rooms and was full when we visited, yet the hotel remained quiet and relaxing. No pressure on facilities, more sun beds than people, I cannot think of a negative aspect.
We were welcomed to Riad Monceau and made to feel completely at ease from then on, the staff were really friendly and the service excellent. It definitely became our home from home whilst we were away. We would recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic Morrocan experience.
Exceptional service by all members of staff ,quite the best we have known
A touch of luxury but wih a relaxed discreet atmosphere
We would readily return , and wholeheartedly recommend all that this riad has to offer

Lovely Riad, our room was perfect and very clean as was the rest of the Riad and the staff & service were great - Yassin spoke very little english but was always happy and friendly. The manager, Olivier, was very helpful as I had to contact him a couple of times before and during our stay. Dinner at the hotel was very nice. Location was quiet and about 10 minutes walk to the main square and medina.
Would definitely stay here again.
Booked a half day city tour through the Riad but thought this was a little expensive for what it was.
Beautiful traditional riyad. A calm and relaxing haven as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Medina of Marrakech. The staff are very attentative and helpful, very good with information and help with arranging excursions. Breakfast is good and prepared personally for you (not help your self style). The spa is lovely and the hammem treatments are excellent. Leaves your skin beautifully soft and the massages are very good, delivered by professional therapists. The hotel complementary airport transfer is efficient and a professional service. Complimentary lunch was a pleasant light meal and the special each day gives a little variety to the menu. The road that Villa des Orangers is located on is not attractive but once you step through the front entrance you are greeted with a relaxing and attractive environment. Room on the first floor with private in room staircase gives you your own private terrace and easy access to roof top pool. Although the room staircase may be difficult for some people as they are narrow and Steep. Good, comfortable sun loungers. Very nice comfortable beds and free wifi in room. If you want to stay in the Medina would highly recommend Villa des Orangers.
