The Lowry is under new management and I'm over the moon. Apart from our perfect wedding reception at this hotel a few years ago our latest return to the venue has been the best ever. There appears to be a calm efficiency and a lighter touch to providing top notch service without the condescending snootiness we've experienced on previous visits. The Lowry is on the boundary of Manchester and Salford, named after one of the region's humblest characters and it's the same unpretentious charm that will be a hit with its guests.
Last minute booking not knowing what to expect, very pleasantly delighted at the warm welcome at reception
and nothing too much trouble for the staff in general even under some difficult and trying customers attitude at times. Breakfast plentiful and good choice including special requests if needed. I will be booking this hotel again,
being a frequent traveler service at this hotel very akin to what one expect in Asia. Well done management and staff.
Everything about our stay was excellent. One or two very minor points is that even with the window closed the noise from outside could still be heard but the hotel can't help that.
We ate in the restuarant..... Just omelette, salad and fries. Despite complaining about the fries being hard and over cooked no one ever came to say "sorry" again a minor thing.
I stayed here for a work trip for 2 nights. I was very happy with my room (nice high ceilings, incredibly comfortable bed, ironing facilities in room, very large, clean shower with strong water pressure and extremely nice bathroom amenities and soaps). I had a few coffees and a drink in the restaurant and on the patio, but didn't have time to try the fine dining restaurant. I had to ask staff every few hours for directions to my appointments and they gave me a lot of their time (and maps) to make sure I knew the right way to get where I was going. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you team Abode!

Really nice hotel apartment, clean, tidy, spacious, and lovely facilities.
Having mostly no internet for my three day visit was frustrating also the water mixer taps were tricky to get just right - scolding or freezing.
