“Great location and hotel”

Stayed for one night in December. The hotel is located right near to the Arndale & Printworks and a stones throwbfrommte MEN Arena. There is also a tram station over the road and free bus service for aroundvthevcity centre. The reception staff are great and we opted for the overnight valet parking service at £15. The room itself is really modern and of high quality, we were in a standard Queen. No noise from the streets below and a super comfy bed all led to a good nights rest. My only gripe, and it's inherent to most hotels, is that there was no real coffee or maker. Just the usual sachet of instant coffee. We have stayed in most of the high end hotels in Manchester and would recommend the Crown Plaza over most of the competition.

“xcellent for men arena”

booked this hotel as going to gig at men arena ,very nice hotel within walking distance of everything , very nice rooms with big flat screen tv and free sky sports, safe, mini bar , etc , nice bar and restuarant , very nice breakfast with plenty to choose from , the printworks car park is virtualy opposite hotel entrance 15.20 for 24 hours, the men arena is less than 5mins walk away, down small street near enuf opposite hotel entrance , will definetly use this hotel again if visiting manchester , and would highly recommend it ,, family of 4 .

“Perfect for our needs whilst in Manchester”

This hotel was perfect for our requirements whilst in Manchester. The location is perfect and we could not fault the reception area - everyone was very polite and the rooms were very comfortable - yes we would return to this hotel if ever back in Manchester

“Lovely hotel, off site parking”

Modern and clean hotel, nice lobby/ halls, very friendly staff, lovely room, good breakfast (but only sliced bread). Busy night life just round the corner, Arndale shopping centre about 70 meters away. Safest parking was NCP about 40 meters away (on the other side of the road), double yellow outside hotel made for difficult transfer of luggage and kids. Otherwise very happy, good value. Would recommend and come back again.

“Not quite what we expected”

Having stayed at several Crown Plaza Hotels, we assumed there would be a consistent level of standards for this hotel chain. This was not the case here and we were most disappointed. Service was poor with a bad experience upon check-in when we arrived from our delayed flight at 1am - we felt we were a burden rather than welcomed guests. Problems with mini bar and room safe and no towels in the room for the children. This was rectified over cause of two days. Our laundry was lost with six different responses from hotel staff on laundry service over the weekend. Finally the hotel manager assisted after we requested our laundry be mailed to us given it was clearly not going to arrive prior to our departure.

“Will use again in Central Manchester”

Can't fault this hotel, it is new,modern, it has a very good room rate,great location in Central Manchester, staff was very welcoming and helpful, room and bed was very comfy (and I rarely find a hotel bed where I can sleep through the night,they are all either too soft or too hard). Really, this is the one to stay in Central Manchester

“Wow factor room.”

Manchester has 2 main railway stations and Crowne Plaza, Shudehill, is located next to Manchester Victoria not Piccadilly. Should you arrive at Man. Piccadilly, there are shuttle buses which will take you to Shudehill (nos 1 & 2). The staff greeted us warmly on arrival which continued throughout our stay. The room definitely had the wow factor but more importantly, was comfortable and clean. We would definitely return!

Hotel had a very good room, we stayed in a room with 2 double beds. Breakfast was well served and location of the hotel was very good, specially who is going to use train, tram and bus. station was round the corner. Also near the MEN arena. So if you are going to watch a show at the arena and want a very good night of sleep, go to this hotel.
