Comfortable hotel in a quiet, small town.

Posted 18-Jul-2014
Pros: The bar and restaurant. The comfortable room and its outside balcony with a view.
Location: The town itself is very quiet although there is a large supermarket for stocking up for a day out in the local national park.
The hotel was pretty quiet for our overnight stay, even though there was a coach party of older folk stopping off there on a tour of the area. The rooms we stayed in were large, with outside balconies with great views of the countryside. Plenty of car parking space. The large bar and restaurant was a relaxing place to spend the evening, as was the outside beer garden. Serrvice in both bar and restaurant was friendly and attentive. Despite there being a coach party in, this enhanced the ambiance rather than having a negative effect. There wasn't very much to do of an evening in the quiet town but for a short stay the hotel itself provided enough facilities.

Great hotel in lovely location

Posted 17-Jul-2009
I really can't fault this hotel for the price. The owners and staff are lovely, the room we stayed in was excellent, the free breakfast was huge, the wifi very cheap & works (!), the small town is beautiful, area gorgeous and the free indoor pool is new, large and empty (apart from us!). There is also a sauna if you fancy that too! A great place to stay. A real treat. Must be good because when we were there so was the German National ladies volleyball team!
