“Quite pleased with the stay - I would definitely return”

The studio style room was perfect for my week long stay. It had a little kitchenette, plenty of room for my clothing and a reasonably comfortable bed. The neighborhood was fantastic and the location of the hotel was great for travel to any part of London with the Belsize tube station a five minute walk away. Due to its small size the room was suited only for an individual or couple. I do not know about any of their larger rooms. I would definitely recommend this hotel for economic, convenient lodging.

“It was good for the price”

I would stay at the Welby Belsize Avenue hotel again. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the tube station was about a five-minute walk away, there were grocery stores in the area - it worked out just fine. Now to the not so good part - there is a very limited number of dishes, only one pot had a lid, so if you are planning on making anything that might require a grater, it's not going to work. Maybe it's an assumption I brought from the States, but I expected a hair dryer in the room - no such luck, had flat hair for the stay. If you are planning on going July-August, be aware that the rooms have no AC, so it gets pretty warm (we were on the third floor and on sunny days it was very warm). And of course the room is very small - we had a choice either a TV or a dinner table, both wouldn't fit :) But as I said, I would stay there again - you are hardly ever in your room and the area is very safe and nice.

Traveller's tip
If you are bringing any electronics with you, the electrical current and outlets might be different. They can provide you with the outlet adapter at the office, but if you just use that and no converter you are going to fry your electronics. Get a electric current converter at home, or pay30 pounds in UK. Bring salt, sugar, spices with you - you will only need a small quantity and it's expensive. Also, for produce use the little fruit stands, they are cheaper there and the quality is better.

“Ruhige Lage und doch nicht weit vom Zetrum.”

Insgesamt hat mir der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Man sollte über dieses Hotel nur wissen, dass keine Handtücher und Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung gestellt wird.

“gute Lage , ideal für unternehmungslustige Reisende”

Die Lage ist Top, Bus und U Bahn praktisch vor der Tür.Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Service und Freundlichkeit hervorragend. Gepäck konnte ich schon früh am morgen im Hotel lassen, genauso bei der Abreise. Ich werde wieder buchen .

“GENIAL”

Je suis allée dans cet hotel avec ma fille de 14ans...Nous avons été très bien reçues, la chambre n'est pas très spacieuse, mais l'équipement est parfait et c'est très propre......Proche du quartier de camden, à visiter absolument, il est facile d'aller n'importe ou à Londres au départ de l hotel(metro à 3min).....Et les englais sont super cool!!!!! Bon séjour

Area recommendations
Faire le tour de Londres en bus.....Partir en début d'apres midi, le ticket est valable 24h, cela fera donc deux jours de ballades gatuites...Vous descendez et monter comme vous voulez....Ne pas manquer le ballade du soir, avec les lumières c'est magnifique

Prendre un ticket de metro(il donne acces au bus aussi) à la journée -réduction pr les enfants c'est donné... manger dehors, sur les sieges motos, au marché de camden road..Toute la gastronomie du monde au choix!! 4£ la portion...

“Studios indépendants”

Ce n'est pas un hotel classique, mais plutôt la centralisation de studios situés dans différentes maisons du quartier, et tout à fait intéressant pour ceux qui cherchent ce type de logement. Le quartier est très agréable.

“Ottimo per viaggi economici”

La soluzione migliore per vedere Londra: un comodo monolocale con tutto quello che ti serve (e se ti manca basta chiedere e sarei servito), vicino a supermercati e alla metropolitana, a poche fermate da i punti più importanti di Londra e in un quartiere tranquillo. Niente di meglio per un tranquillo viaggio in compagnia.

Grazie alla disposizione di una cunina e ad un supermarket a pochi passi, è possibile risparmiare molto e mangiare bene!

“Pienamente soddisfatto”

Sono andato a Londra per passare un w-end rilassante, quindi niente ostelli o camere multiple e ho provato questi monolocali. A partire dai prezzi davvero di poco maggiori rispetto agli ostelli, mi sono trovato in una confortevole stanza con bagno, una doccia grande, tv a schermo piatto e cucina, mi sono sentito proprio a casa. Fermata della metro a nemmeno due minuti a piedi. SUPERCONSIGLIATO!

A una fermata dall'hotel comincia il mercatino di Camden Town, tantissime cose interressanti da vedere ed acquistare! Occhio all'orario: in questo quartiere a quanto pare preferiscono godersi l'estate e i negozi sono aperti dalle 11 alle 18!

“Hôtel en travaux”

Depuis quelques semaines visiblement, cet hôtel est en rénovation. Si le confort est assez minimal, nous regrettons une literie assez moyenne. Pour le reste le quartier est charmant donc il faut attendre les travaux pour se donner une nouvelle idée
