“Loved the Neighborhood”

The staff was very nice and I really enjoyed my stay there. Definitely booking a room with them again when I go back to London.

“London Apt/Hotel Belsize Park”

Good overall experience. Located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, close to the Underground station. A number of restaurants and a supermarket is nearby. Manager is straightforward, if you want to stay an extra day, it can be arranged. Most of the property are long term rentals appartments style rooms with cooking stove and fridge, and if you require room cleaning, need to ask the manager in advance. If you arrive on Sunday or late Saturday (after 6pm), the office may be closed. Just remember to check in at the Belsize Avenue address, where the office is located. For the price, it is a good value for London. Be sure to check out the colorful Camden Market, which is only 2 tube stops south.

If you buy a 7 day London Travel Card for unlimited travel of bus and underground, buy it at a train station (ie Kings Cross) and not at a underground station, and you will get a 2 for 1 discount booklet and coupons. We used it for London Eye and Tower of London and saved 17 pounds each, well worth the travel card value.

“Convenient”

Short walk from the tube and only 2 stops from Camden Town, which is my favourite part of London. They could do with stronger hoovers as the floor was a bit dusty, but otherwise fine.

“Terrible do not even think of staying here.”

Firstly this is not a hotel, more like a drop in centre. There are no facilities whatsoever. The reception is non existent apart from some rather unhelpful people in an office space. I called to enquire the (hotel's) whereabouts as the address and directions were incorrect and was greeted by a rather unfriendly hello (no mention of the name). We payed a reasonable price for a hotel,not a hostel. Anybody looking for short term accomodation in London would be wise to look elsewhere, stayed for one evening and that was quite enough. Very dissapointed.

Whilst this place was quite close to our destination of Camden there are far better value hotels/B&Bs nearby.

“LONDON WEEK”

Hôtel bien situé, à proximité du métro et de commerces ! Chambre propre mais murs peu épais (gênant si voisins bruyants)

“Tolle Anbindung, angenehmes Viertel, für den Preis gute Unterkunft”

Direkter Kontakt zum Stadtzentrum mit U-Bahn und Bus. Noch in der Tourizone 2 (Travelcardgebiet!) Nette, hilfsbereite und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Allerdings auch hellhörige Wände (bei uns mit nachtaktiven Nachbarn) einfache aber hinreichende Ausstattung. Für den Preis gerne wieder!

Area recommendations
Lasst Euch mit der Travelcard einen "2 für 1" - Prospekt geben. Dann gibt es viele Attraktionen für 2 Personen zu einem Eintritt. Wir hatten so die Summe für die Fahrkarte schnell wieder raus. In London ist zuviel los, um eines zu empfehlen. EIn ruhiger Spaziergang am Kanal und durch den Regentspark im Morgengrauen empfieht vielleicht nicht jeder Reiseführer.

“Alles OK”

Alles was man braucht: Kühlschrank, Herd, Backofen, Wasserkocher, W-Lan vorhanden. Für britische Verhältnisse sehr sauberes Zimmer und Hotel. Wir fanden es klasse, das wir uns auch mal selbst versorgen konnten. Klasse Supermarkt um die Ecke, genau wie Bus und U-Bahn. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße. Handtücher und Toilettenpapier waren vorhanden.

“Hôtel Welby à Londres: proche de Camden Market”

J'ai été très satisfaite de l'hôtel, tant en ce qui concerne le confort, que la propreté de la chambre. L'hôtel est à 5min à pied de la station Belsize Park, à deux stations du Camden Market et à 5 stations de la gare de King's Cross St. Pancras. Il est situé dans un quartier calme. Il y a pas mal de commerces et de petits restaurants dans le coin, ce qui est pratique. Seuls bémols: la douche fixée au mur et les fenêtres qui ne sont pas du double vitrage (mais comme c'est un quartier calme, ce n'est pas très gênant..) Serviettes de bain et papier toilette fournis. Je pense revenir ici lors de mon prochain séjour à Londres.

“Welby 20 Belsize Park (Avenue)”

Je recommande cette adresse qui allie les services d'un hôtel avec les qualités d'un studio (réfrigérateur, évier, cuisinière, TV ...). Ce fut très agréable d'y séjourner. Seul point négatif, c'est assez éloigné du centre ville.
