nice hotel, expensive food

I booked this hotel for us the night before an early departure from LHR. It was great value since I booked ot far ahead, but food was very expensive. We also had to pay GBP9 each for RT transportation between the hotel and LHR. Very clean, comfortable room. Slow service in the DR when I asked for a glass of water.

I've stayed here twice. The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and convenient. On both occasions however I was disappointed by the attitude of the staff. The employee at check in spoke to me very sharply when I questioned the need to leave credit card details, and the concierge was slow to offer assistance with my luggage and advice about local bus services. They gave the impression of being unconcerned about customer service.

Terrible experience my staying at the park in. They did not respond to my wake up call as a result to almost miss my flight. Very bad and inpolite staff.

Cons: P.R!!
Location: GOOD PUB I FOUND ACROSS THE ROAD AND LOTS OTHERS ALSO FOUND IT AS EXP TO EAT IN THE HOTEL.
i GAVE MYSELF A BREAK AT THIS HOTEL TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A SWIM / SPA AND A MEAL AND THEY HAD NOT EVEN TOLD ANYONE THAT THE POOL HAD BEEN CLOSED FOR 2 WEEKS!!!!! IT SHOULD HAVE COME UPON THE BOOKING AS PEOPLE BOOK THESE HOTELS FOR JUST THAT ESP. WITH CHILDREN ON THE HOLIDAY BREAK ALSO NOOOOOOO VAT RECEIPT I ASKED 3 TIMES AND THEY SAID THE COMPUTERS WERE BROKEN I ASKED THEM TO MAIL AND THEY MAILED JUST A PAYMENT ONE NO VAT RECEIPT I WONT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN.

Easy access to Heathrow Airport.

Pros: It's location to the airport.
Location: It is easy to take a bus or the tube (underground subway) into downtown London.
After some confusion with rooms, the front office staff fixed the problems. There are no clocks in the rooms, otherwise not a bad hotel. Food in the restaurant was good.

Close to Heathrow Airport

Cons: Hairdryer location and more hooks in the bathroom
Small room and not well designed. To use the hair dryer in front of the mirror provided I had to move the very heavy chair and then when I sat down the table pedestal was in the way. Either move the hairdryer or provide a longer lead! Only one rail to hang towels and no hooks on the back on the bathroom door. As we were only staying for one night we did not request to reuse the towels. However if we were staying longer and wanted to reuse the towels then we could not fit them all on the one rail provided.
