“One of the best budget hotels”
I frequently stay in budget central London hotels. This is one of the best I 've used. The hotel is well maintained, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good compared with the typical at these prices. Overall a well managed, well maintained small hotel. It's on a throughroad, so can be a little noisy, although double glazing blocks most of it out - and, hey, it's in central London. Well done Gloucester Place!
“Need to be fit !”
Booked without reading a review as location was perfect. The hotel is small and in a Georgian terrace. Unfortunately we were on the top floor with c.61 stairs to climb and I am disabled - there is no lift. Not too happy with the bed and could do with some refurbishment to the shower room, there was no bath. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast excellent. If you stay there, I would suggest ensuring that you have a room on the first or second floors, unless very fit !!
“Perfectly adequate”
Stayed overnight in a Single room. The room was clean, new furniture, the bathroom was clean, bed comfortable. Buffet Breakfast was Good. The staff was very helpful, leaving my bags in storage after check-out the next day was no problem. Also we wanted to check in earlier than their standard check in time, that also was not a problem. Location very central next to Oxford street. Generally for the price we paid I would say the quality was quite good. I would recommend this hotel.
“Exceeded Expectations”
Surprisingly good for a budget hotel in this area. All staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and clean with good facilities. Complimentary breakfast very good. Optional extras very reasonably priced. Location excellent for West End area. Only drawback: no lift. My room was at the top of 60 steps;still, good exercise! Will definitely book again.
“Good room, helpful staff, excellent Location”
The hotel was perfectly located for sightseeing. Stayed in one of their Superior Doubles. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasand and extremely helpful. The free continental breakfast was sufficient to set you up for the day, Croissants, fried eggs, toast, Juice, cereal, cheese. The hotel is apparently under new management. I stayed at the hotel for 1 night and will undoubtedly return.
“Bra läge,god service”
Bra hotel med hjälpsam personal. Frukost rummet var ganska trångt men frukosten var helt ok. Man kunde få frukost på rummet utan extra kostnad.
“Supert hotell for Londonweekend”
