“great mid range hotel in bellagi”
we had three fun nights here, the male attendant on reception tended to inore guests totally, was not very friendly , never said good morning or hello, which was a tad amusing but not good for hotel brand. The room was comfortable & clean with a great view. As the attendant gave poor welcome instructions, We did not know where to go for breakfast so we ate out. I suggest a welcome guest pack should be provided for each room. You cannot get meals or dinks here but there is plenty close by to satisfy your needs. I liked it and thought it ok for price
“Great Location”
Hotel is located right opposite foot passenger ferry. Romantic steps up to hotel not so romantic - a bit of a struggle with luggage but if they have someone around, will come and help you. Room was small but adequate, bathroom very small. Lovely terrace to sit on to enjoy the excellent breakfast - cappucino was very good. Was nice to be able to take the shuttle to the Sporting Club and use their pool. Would definitly stay here again.
“what a magnificent view!”
We loved it. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were very modern and the view was beautiful! would definitely recommend, without any reservations!
“Good value in swish Bellagio”
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bellagio. Our room was clean, we had a great view of the Lake and the cold buffet breakfast with fresh fruit suited us a treat. The free Wi fi was a bonus and the location of the hotel apart from a few steps was ideally placed for all forms of transport and right on the lake. Our room could have done with more storage space, a mini bar and somewhere to put our stuff in the bathroom but other than that everything was good.
“Fantastic”
A small hotel in a fantastic location. We had a lake view room which was light and airy. A great breakfast was included and there are many well priced restaurants nearby. Great value and we spent 5 nights here and left totally relaxed
“Highly recommended!”
Hotel Bellagio was excellent, a tad pricey but you get what you pay for. Location was amazing although we did not have lake-view rooms. The room was moderately large and well-equipped. It's not really a 2-star hotel. Shower worked perfectly and bathroom was very clean. Staff were very helpful in helping us with train timings etc. The best spot unless you want to up your ante for a hotel with a pool.
“Great Location though has some aspects that we didnt like”
In terms of location and budget the Bellagio is great....moderately priced. We had a lake facing room and the little balcony opened out to a most gorgeous view of the lake. But in terms of access, it was really difficult to get to. One had to climb at least 30 steps to get to the main entrance and with a toddler and a stroller it got really difficult. Diego at the reception was extremely helpful and nice and got our stroller every time. In terms of the room - it was spacious with little thought for furniture or decor. I think the double bed is very misleading - they were two separate wrought-iron beds put together side by side. And they would keep sliding apart with my son mostly sleeping in the crevice. The mattresses were not that great either and quite thin. Also the walls were quite thin and we could hear a lot of the neighbors and I'm sure some of them heard my son! But it's also right at the center and once you get down the stairs the little town is very charming!
“Nice location, but small”
The Bellagio Area is beautiful. The location of the hotel is in the center of everything. It was clean and had a parking place for us. We paid extra for that. The rooms are very small. There are many steps up to the entrance, which might be a problem for people with disabilities.
“Magnificent”
Room was extraordinary, view was unbelievable, staff was great. Only complaint was the shower. Water temp. kept changing.
“Charming hotel”
Hotel was a gem. Definitely worth the upgrade to Lake View, the views are breathtaking! Room is simple, clean. Complimentary breakfast was good. Staff is very nice.
