Nice B&B close to the Dover port

Posted 21-Jun-2015
Pros: Friendly hosts. Comfortable
A friend and I were doing a cycling sportive in France and wanted to stay over in Dover the night before as we had an early start. This was perfect. Hosts very accommodating with the bikes and our early start. Room clean and perfectly comfortable. Would happily stay here again

perfect stay for stopover

Posted 10-Jun-2015
Pros: Had a good night of sleep in a comfy bed
Cons: Shower took forever to get hot. Since the shower head was fixed I had to check the temp. x-times by opening the door and thereby flooding the floor
Location: In the middle of Dover, had no time to explore myself.
With a check-in possible till 11pm the Guest House is perfect for those who are only staying for one night in order to get the ferry the next morning (that also goes for the breakfast times) but also for those who want to explore the area. Parking lots are limited but a few available in the area nearby. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom wasn't en-suite but up-to-date and well maintained, looked like a sauna. Breakfast was prepared according to order and tasty but not included in the booking price. Check-in was easy but upon leaving no one was around since both owners were busy in the kitchen.

Nice B&B although not our first choice

Posted 06-May-2015
Pros: The outside porch is very cute and cozy, and the beds we slept in were very comfy.
Cons: The shower had barely any water coming out, and not very user friendly.
Location: A good 20 min walk from the center, not that many things to do nearby. We had our car so we could drive to the White Cliffs of Dover.
Booked with limited amount of time, so our options were kind of restricted to begin with. Would not have been our first choice though. It did the job and we slept good, but the facilities were a bit old fashioned (which is a personal opinion). Not that close to the center either, it is a good 20 min walk. The price-quality was not justified in my humble opinion, we have slept in much prettier and better B&B for less.

Fair hotel for the Price

Posted 04-May-2015
Pros: The room was a good size Walking distance to the town centre
Cons: The shower would get either too hot or too cold
Location: Dover Castle White Cliffs of Dover
The hotel was good/okay. It was little bit dark, it is hard to explain. The hotel staff lived on the first floor of the hotel (family run) so when I had a question it seemed like I was bothering them. I didnt go for breakfast because the breakfast time was way to early. I only stayed for one night so for the rate it was good

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. The hotel is situated on a main road going out from the centre.

Cosy and practical

Posted 17-Apr-2015
Pros: Well furnished. Lots of character.
Cons: Stairs are a bit of a maze.
Location: 5 minutes from Dover port. On main road through town. Private parking at rear.
One day stop off to France. Very polite staff, hotel was well maintained. Room was small but had everything you need plus a sink and kettle.

Lovely guesthouse with a homey feel

Great value, welcoming place to stay In Dover. I had a very comfortable, quite large single room - no complaints about anything! Comfortable 15 minute walk to the town centre (or local bus stops just out the front), perfect base for exploring the beautiful town, incredible castle and famous white cliffs.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff!

Me and a friend wanted a girls night together somewhere different, so glad we chose this hotel. Booked it that day and once we arrived we were greeted polite and warmly. Lots of stairs to walk up, i don't know how they've got so many floors. There are a LOT of stair cases but looking outside - in there omly looks as though to be a macimum of 3 or 4.

Nice and cozy guest house in Dover

Posted 23-Mar-2015
Pros: The ability to park, and value for money
Cons: Breakfast could be better, instant coffee was not something I enjoyed
Location: 1 km walk to the center, Dover Priory station is pretty close
Booked last minute, everything was generally good and pleasant during my stay.
