“Expected”

Visit was nothing special. I have stayed there before and it is a place to sleep. I knew what to expect of the properity. It did seem like the continental breakfast was scaled down a little more than I remembered. It is easy in and easy out.

Area recommendations

This property is not in the best location. I would definately go in another area of town if I was going to be out at night.

“Nice hotel except for the entrance and towels”

I would definitely stay here again. The entrance to the hotel is confusing if you are following your GPS since there is a main entrance and 2 others. The room was clean and great except for the smell on the towels. They smelled as though they were dried on the heater in the room. All of them had that burnt smell.

“Just one problem”

The drain in the tub was very very slow, however they fixed the problem! Otherwise my stay was very good.

“Worn out!”

I had to return to the front desk to get my entry card recoded for entry while unloading my car - irritating when you've driven all day and tired. The main problem with the room was the worn out condition of the furniture in the room, worn and torn. Was very surprised due to the name connected to the chain. I expect more from La Quinta.

“Not Impressed”

The new toilet made a horrible noise when it was flushed, and the security guy spent all his time talking to the night clerk when he could have been geting some folks to quiet down at 1am.

“jackson stay”

the hotel was not bad at all, when we 1st arrived the room was not cleaned but they moved us to a room that was, everything was in a good distance to go to.

“good stopping place”

We were passing through on our way to New Orleans and just wanted a bed, shower and breakfast in the morning. It satisfied those things. However, I'm not a big fan of hotel rooms with the door leading directly outside, and the breakfast was mediocre. There was cereal, some pastries and bagels, bread, and pre-made waffles. They were out of maple syrup, and it was disappointing to not have a waffle maker available. But, for the price, the value was good.

Area recommendations

This neighborhood is fine. Jackson isn't that large of a city and we didn't have much trouble with traffic. There are a lot of other hotels and casual dining options nearby.
