Chancellor's Restaurant - Upscale, relaxed atmosphere. Menu features twists on traditional comfort foods, such as meatloaf with sun-dried tomatoes and macaroni and cheese baked with fresh vegetables. Menu changes seasonally. Open for lunch Monday through Friday, for brunch on Sunday, and dinner every evening.

Our Den Sports Bar - Contemporary fare in an intimate environment. Four large-screen TVs always playing sports. Open until late evening.

The Bistro - Casual atmosphere with daily breakfast. Open mornings.

“great place to stay”

We got a real good deal on an Expedia sale for this place on the IUPUI campus. It was a nice place and reasonable convenient for our downtown trade show. The service was great from the valet parking, the front desk, and the wait staff at the evening bar/restaurant. Will stay again.

“CVonvient and service uogrded sinc elast stay”

Everything was great with the exception of Elevators not working and being turned off at night. Feel parking fee a little steep when just a few miles away there is no fees 10 would be fair. Grout in bathroom need some work but other wise clean and pleasant. Staff very eager to please and upscale.

The entire Downtown safe and very open parking rates cheap. People very cooperative.

“Nice at a great deal price!”

Great place, really liked the comfort of the bed. Felt safe and had access to everything from the location. Glad I got it at such a cheap price!!

“It isn't downtown; Expedia shafted again.”

Although the Expedia map would indicate this hotel is in the downtown area, it is very far from Circle Center Mall. I'd list it as on campus (IUPUI). I had to rent a car (over $100 for 2 days) and pay for parking in the downtown area. The mini frig in the room 510 leaked condensation, so there was a constant ice cold wet spot on the carpet. The retainer clasp on the internet cable was broken.

Area recommendations

Stay in the real downtown. Hyatt, Omni, Canterbury, Westin, Marriott, Hilton,....

Dining

Mo's steakhouse on Pennsylvania had fabulous service and a great bone in rib eye steak. Try the Jalapeno hashbrowns if you like a spicy side dish.

“Should have tried harder”

The front desk folks were nice and competent. The room was not clean and the bathroom not acceptable.

“Nice Place to Stay”

I wish we would have known earlier that parking was an extra $18/day, but other that that everything was very nice. They accidentally shut off our room keys after one day, but fixing the problem was easy and they were very apologetic.

Area recommendations

The Children's Museum was only about 3 miles a way and is a great attraction for the whole family.

“would not stay again!”

For a hotel that's supposed to be "downtown" it's not downtown. I was told they have a pool/jacuzzi for the guests to use (at the University) however upon arriving they said that we cannot use the pool/jacuzzi because they have swim meets. Honestly, I was really disappointed with the hotel and my experience with Expedia, I don't plan on using both again. Plus with the hotel you have to pay 18.00 just to park!! Were not in New York or Chicago, just crazy!! With Expedia, I had to call for some information and spoke with one of the rudest customer service agents, then I had to call again because the issue wasn't resolved.
