“Very impressed”
The Grand Hotel was great overall, I stayed for a week for work. I was impressed that they provide many services such as breakfast, wireless, pool, rooftop hot tub etc inc in the price. My only complaint is that I payed extra to upgrade to a room with a separate bedroom and this turned out to be a room with glass sliding doors that did not meet in the middle. I wanted some privacy between me and a guest who used the sofa bed provided. The area is also not that great but convenient for Dundas Sq and subway a 5 minute walk away. Great stay overall.

“Great Trip”
I would definately recommend this hotel - the rooms are amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Also every day we got up early and went for a swim and were lucky to have the pool to ourselves every day! The only negative comment I would have is with regards to the hotel's location, I didn't feel very safe walking around the area at night; there seemed to be quite a few sketchy people walking around!
“Very comfortable”
We stayed for 6 days and had a great time as the hotel was so relaxing. The staff in particular need a mention as they were all so herlpful and so solicitous. they made the stay what it was.
“sleepless in the Grand”
we always wanted to go back to the grand hotel this is our 3rd time over many years. the view from the roof at night is great. the free breakfast is still very good. we were very disappointed with the room they changed the carpet to laminant . not nice under foot. the bed was comfortable , but the under cover did'nt fit the bed so you slept on 1 sheet over the mattress. the sheets were quite warn. the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and next to the door.our floor was very noisy we did'nt get much sleep.we will not be returning to the Grand on our next trip.
