“Great hotel and great location”

The hotel is ideally located at the end of Princes street. Very easy access to all the tourist spots in the old and new town (everythiing very walkable from hotel). Bus stop ideally located outside the hotel will take to the Royal Yacht Brittania (no 22). Hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly. Room was of a good size and very clean (no veiw in ours but who cares) and the bed was huge and very comfortable.

Nice hotel - not the most glamorous but perfect for a weekend of shopping and eating out.

The staff and the hotel were excellent. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate, and whilst there was a car park adjacent, the hotel car park was little more than a tunnel which, had I parked a car there, it is unlikely that I would have been able to get it back out. As it happened I was travelling by motorcycle and it was not too much a problem. Overall, the hotel was better than I expected (mainly because of the reduced rate) and I would defintely use it again and would recommend it to other travellers.

Hotel in a great position at end of Princess ST and 5 minutes from rail station. Got a great deal through Expedia and we were offered a full breakfast for half price at check in, The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and well decorated with excellent facilities. Would certainly stay there again

“A hidden gem”

We might only have stayed for one night but found the hotel very quickly, being just off busy Princes Street. Our room was available upon check in and was spotlessly clean. The bar was well tended and breakfast was a delight.

right in the heart of the city, seconds from princes street and the royal mile, this clean friendly hotel is a must for edinburgh sightseers, cannot think of anything negative to say about the hotel,it was great

My first impression of my room was 'warm and cosy and safe'. As a lone single female traveller, it was just the ticket. My trip was for only a day and a half or extreme sightseeing, and so its perfect location and feeling of sancutary fitted my trip exactly. I did'nt experience the restuarant or breakfast services, so I've something else to review next time!

Staff pleasant and welcoming, hotel central for city visit and buses further out. Bed large and comfortable, bathroom very clean. Bit of a problem with one electrical socket.
