Place was clean, beds were comfortable, quiet, lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Price was right. The ladies at the desk in the am were friendly. The only thing I would complain about is breakfast , it would be nice to have some fruit, yogurt and or refrigerated eggs.

The hotel was not bad for the price. Having said that I do not want to stop in Holbrook, AZ again. Restaurants and hotels were either too low end or too high end with no good choices in between. Dining was very limited also. I had the worst Big Mac ever in Holbrook.

The carpet was soaking wet the entire tie we were there. Breakfast was toast, waffles, cereal, and bad coffee. The pool looked green and our keys didn't work on the second day. There are many newer hotels nearby where we could have had a better stay for the same money.

Second room key kept not working, we had to swap it out four times. Bathtub was dirty, toilet flushed poorly & plugged up on us, swimming pool & hot tub heaters weren't working. Even though Expedia classifies this place as a hotel, there was no elevator. Hotel is definitely dated but for the price I guess you get what you pay for. I am puzzled as to how this hotel gets ratings of 8 out of 10, I wouldn't give it more than a 5 at best. Even though it's not the hotel's fault, the people in the room next to us had 4 or 5 kids and they were up at 6:30 a.m on a Saturday making so much noise it woke me up & I couldn't get back to sleep. The walls are paper thin, I could hear what they were saying. The kids were yelling & screaming and running back and forth pounding their feet. It was a nightmare. I would NOT recommend staying here unless you're on a very, very tight budget.

It was a very nice, clean, and affordable place. I was only there for one night, but I can assure you that the staff were very nice, the hotel was clean, and as a bonus the pool was heated. I personally loved my stay.

Excellent location near the Petrified National Forest. A little worn around the edges, but the bed was comfortable, service friendly and the price was right.

Clean, comfortable, and decent. Good place to get your rest and reset. Continental breakfast was subpar. I mean, I don’t expect a full casino style breakfast buffet, but something more than bad coffee & 2 pieces on my plate. At least McDonalds wasn’t that far, so there’s that.

We stayed three nights and the location of the hotel was perfect for the areas we were going to explore. We felt the price was good for our stay. Our room was comfortable, but the lighting was very dim and they had no information about local restaurants tourist sites and there wasn’t even any glasses in the room to drink water. I was surprised that this Howard Johnson’s by Wyndham was like this, because the one that we stayed in at Niagara Falls Canada was a very well-maintained property and we figured this one in Holbrook would’ve been the same way.

Clean, well appointed and spacious rooms, very hot water, professional staff. Breakfast is mediocre, and with no tea, only coffee, disappointing. Also the pool, which as a lap swimmer, was the attraction for me, is only open from 2 pm. No consideration for those who choose to exercise in the morning.
