RUN! Sleep in your car before you book here!

Posted 18-Feb-2014
Pros: It's across from Waffle House.
Cons: Every single thing could be improved.
Location: There's nothing in Cornelia. A good exit for food and gas, but Gainesville is the closest thing to civilization.
Went in the main lobby, smelled like curry cooked curry. Then the manager slapped a form in front of me with wet fingers. The "breakfast" includes a small bar of fruit and junk and a coffee without real creamer. The room was dirty, including hairs in the sheets and tub. The comforter looked like it was 100 years old. Burn marks were all over the place and every surface, including the phone and tv were covered in some kind of slick polish. We had to move items and wipe them off, them wipe the room surfaces down. The tv channels were a joke. The fridge barely worked. There was a bucket for ice, but no ice. The alarm clock was broken. Only one outlet was available. The last morning there, a man screamed at a patron for numerous minutes, two separate times. No one came to see what the fuss was or asked him to leave. It disturbed our sleep and we ended up waking early and leaving early.

The only place available

The people were rude who run the place. After I had already prepaid he insisted he had to still run my credit card. I was very upset about it.

Too much truck noise on the road

Posted 30-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
The main street must have been a truck route. There was a lot of noise from trucks all night. The room was clean but dowdy. When I was checking in the lady answered the phone to another guest who was trying to get on the internet and did not really converse with me. I booked a non smoking room but got a smoking room. For $87.00 I expected a lot more.

Convenient to North Georgia and mountains

Posted 30-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
A cut above some other 2-star motels. Continental breakfast includes warm hard boiled eggs, toaster waffles, sausage biscuits and instant oatmeal, along with the usual fare. A little hard to find when coming south, as the exit has a sign for it, but not one where you need to turn to find it, and the street itself has no identifying sign. Better signage would help. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Great location for motorcycle trip

Posted 24-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our 3 day stay and plan on returning. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. We were there for a 3 day motorcycle ride on the surrounding mountain roads so the location was perfect for us.

Stay over while driving SixGap

It was better than expected after reading the reviews. For the money we were very comfortable and the room was clean. The front desk was unable to provide lotion so bring your own!!

Due for renovation

Posted 14-May-2013 on Hotels.com
Our reservation was for two rooms. The lady at the desk was real nice and had our rooms together. When my girlfriend went into the first room, she immediately comes out and says the ceiling has fallen. I go in and take a look and sure enough, the bathroom ceiling has fallen through. After getting our second room, we get settled in and find the sheets are stained and the bed leans to the right. Talking with my dad the next morning, he said as soon as he laid down in his bed the entire head of the bed collapsed. When I checked out the next morning, the lady behind the desk was barefoot. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
