“Hawthorn the best place to live”

nice place. very calm and quite. Cant wait to go back and stay the same place.

“Housekeeping Standards UNSAT”

The first morning we were there the commode overflowed. The second day Housekeeping failed to make up the room. The third day Housekeeping only had one bath towel and didn't return with second as promised. The fourth day housekeeping didn't make up the room. The kitchen floor was never cleaned. The dishwasher had dirty dishes with foodstuffs rotting; upon opening it the first time the stench was nauseating. Upon returning to the room one night at 10:15 PM the room card keys would not work. The desk clerk tried 3 times to reprogram them to no avail. We had to wait until after 11:00 PM when the night auditor arrived to get the problem fixed. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the kitchen staff was both professional and very courteous. The housekeeping staff need to be supervised or replaced.

Area recommendations
East Main Street area. Convenient to shopping and access to highways to Hartford or New Haven.
Must see
Yale University buildings in New haven. Beautiful architecture!

“Good for business travel”

Overall experience was fine but the checkin service was very slow and the breakfast buffet was poorly replenished, had to keep asking for untensils, milk, etc even with 2 staff members in the kitchen area.

“wonderful”

We loved our 2-bedroom suite (632) with the separate bathroom and own TV set for our daughter! Great breakfast in the morning. Only the lightbulb over the sink in the master bedroom was burnt out and needs to be replaced. I forgot to tell management about it. We would be happy to stay there again.
