“Happy Halliburton”
NIce small hotel. Felt like a bed and breakfast. Friendly staff. Showed extra care and did the little things that make a stay memorable. A few blocks from downtown proper, but easily accessible and slightly off the beaten track and that made it even more enjoyable.
“Halifax's best boutique hotel”
The Halliburton is a set of three historic houses converted to a boutique hotel in Halifax near the old waterfront. All the charms of a small home, and the conveniences of a larger hotel with much more personalized service. Stories, the first floor restaurant, is excellent, and like dining at a friend's house.
“Only gets better with every stay”
This was my 3rd stay and it only gets better every time: recognition as a regular, fantastic new restaurants and new market within walking distance, and the included breakfast keeps interesting with different breads and preserves of the day each morning.
“Pleasurable Hotel”
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Halliburton, in Halifax, NS. Would recommend it to anyone. Halifax is a very interesting city.
“Great place in Halifax!”
What a lovely place to stay! The service was terrific, they made tea or coffee for us on request, the bottled water in the room was complimentary and they gave me a live wake-up call.
“Very Pleasant”
It wasn't busy while I was there, but I felt completely at home, the room was quiet, and I enjoyed the location. The breakfast was perfect.
“Down town Hallifax at a great price”

“last minute visit to Halifax”
Comfortable and friendly, but we did have to go outside in the cold to get to the reception for breakfast, as we were in an a building next to the main hotel. Would recommend being in the main hotel building if possible.
“Charming In Town Location”
Very nice hotel, provides parking in back. Must climb stairs to the rooms so be prepared. Staff very nice, excellent continental breakfast downstairs. Well appointed. Our room was somewhat small, but comfortable.
