decent value

Posted 07-Jun-2015
Pros: Owners. Breakfast.
Cons: Parking facilities.
Location: Convenient for Liverpool airport, Liverpool city centre and all destinations in South Liverpool.
Convenient location for our purpose of attending a family function in South Liverpool. Pleasant owners, very good breakfast (full English recommended), comfortable room albeit a lack of readily accessible plug sockets in our particular room (the Hay Loft). Parking space is limited, but overall nothing to really complain about. Would I give it a thumbs up? Yes - definitely!

Nice village location shame about the aeroplanes!!

Posted 27-May-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Full refurb of interior and at least 3 skip full of junk from garden which would then be a pleasant area to sit in whilst waiting for breakfast
Location: Liverpool on door step so great things to do
room in need of refurb as rest of property, cracked plasterwork and fininishes, handle to window broke so would not close, essential with planes landing overhead. Extension lead balanced on hot radiator contains plugs for TV,fridge and kettle. Host not sure on eating times at pub 50m away - told last food orders were possibly 8pm turned out it was 7.00 so only just made it After poor night sleep we went for our 8.30 to 9.00am breakfast and was told we would have to wait 5 min this turned into 30 min wait due to rush! Despite appearing to be full the additional dining area was not in use (as noted by owner!) Apologies for delay was made but no offer of discount could not be bother to argue just wanted to leave as already late.

Mysigt

Posted 18-Apr-2015
Pros: Mysigt boende. Mycket trevlig personal. Fina rum . God frukost.

Nice village

Posted 24-Mar-2015
Pros: clean and the hosts were quite friendly, breakfast was fine
Cons: Need. to pay attention to details, shower seal was hanging off, toilet roll holder missing, door to bathroom wouldn't close, pillows were lumpy
Location: Great location for nearby Liverpool, Speke Hall and numerous other museums and venues
Place was okay, pity about attention to detail, was fine if you didn't mind air traffic noise, which at times was very intrusive.

Wonderful - loved the chickens, dog & cat!

Posted 12-Mar-2015
Pros: Great breakfast!
Cons: Nothing
Location: The Legend of the local Giant - shame didn't get a chance to investigate! :D
A warm welcome in a beautiful farm-ype building in a pretty village. Warning - their brown dog may lick you to death (this annoys their beautiful 'rag doll' cat as she he barges in to steal the attention she's getting! :D

Posted 04-Mar-2015
Pros: I loved the homely atmosphere and the staff.
Cons: The soap dispenser in the bathroom was nearly empty but it wasn't a big deal
Location: I was staying for work reasons and the location was very handy for my office
I had a very comfortable stay. The cooked breakfast and large cafetiere of coffee was perfect.

Perfect b&b in a gorgeous village

Posted 22-Feb-2015 on Hotels
Amazing b&b. Must visit village and perfect place to stay. A* breakfast, comfortable room, great wifi, warm room, hot water. Do note the double ensuing doesn't have a bath tub, but shower is fine for me. The owners are really pleasant and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. If I could change one thing I would advise repair to the extremely squeaky floor in the attic double bedroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend break

Posted 12-Feb-2015 on Hotels
A totally friendly environment, made very welcome and the rooms were of a high standard throughout. I would recommend this B & B to anyone, a nice quiet location, with a very friendly public house a couple of minutes walk away, which serves food. We were a couple on a short break in Liverpool, and this B & B is located in a good location allowing easy access in to the City. We would stay again, without any problems of choosing this B & B over any other.
