I personally had a brilliant time here. whether you are going for a relaxing stay or to have a bit of fun, then this is the perfect stay for you. If you are a keen swimmer then you may be dissapointed to hear that the heated pool never once worked in our week there, and other guests mentioned that it didnt prior to this either. The hotel food was ok, it will do if you not bothered so much about foods. The local amenities are great with a supermarket around the corner from the hotel. I need to mention the nightly entertainment, Shaggy was brilliant, he is such a nice guy and looked after all the guests. He is also the activity co-ordinator during the day, and he does a good job at it, although he does seem to change the rules alot, and cheat, but thats part of the fun hey! Hotel is what you pay for, its cheap and for the price you pay you get your moneys worth, I would have given 5/5 if the pool was heated, but if your their in the summer you will not have to worry about this!

very cheap and good location

We stayed for a week at Playa Park with the sole intention of getting a week away in the sun and doing nothing. This place was perfect for just that. The apartments were almost empty, maybe ten other people there throughout the week at any one time (low season, just after Easter). Pool was pretty but very cold, but i guess in the height of summer it is warmed by the sun and the cold would be welcomed as it gets so hot. Pool bar had fantastic staff and served simple very reasonably priced snacks. We stayed in a studio which was spacious and basic, we did no cooking at all so cannot comment on those facilities, but it appeared to have all that would be needed. Towels were provided but they were not at all soft, if you have room in your suitcase to take your own I'd suggest doing so (I did and my sunburn was very grateful). Towels and bedding were all very old and some slightly stained, but nothing too offensive. Rooms were "cleaned" every few days, basically towels were hung up to dry for you and bed made to look presentable, but not much more than that. The maids were lovely though! When we arrived we found a dirty, recently unpleasantly stained bed sheet screwed up and put in the bottom of the wardrobe, throughout the whole week this was not removed even having reported it to reception. But that would be my only complaint. This hotel is very basic, but you get what you pay for. Great location too, between town and sand dunes and walking distance to both. I'd go back.

2nd time around - what a dissapointment !

Overlooking wheelie bins, emptied at 4am and wheeled back by staff at 7am every day. Overlooking waste ground and the new police station cells. Noise galore! Basic accommodation, only go if you get a room at the back of the complex! And if you are prepared for broken sleep!

having read mixed rewiews wasn't quite sure what to expect, but i was pleasantly surprised. room was clean and spacious with a balcony. the only downside is that doors have no isolation whatsoever and not only they close loudly, you can also hear other guests noises on the gangway. overall very good value for the money. certainly can recommend.

The room was confortable only problem we encountered was hot water in the shower it lasted 2 mins - still is was really hot over there and a cold shower is good for you. Found the staff and service excellent including the food in the poolside bar. The area around the pool is second to none and can honestly say I have never seen so much space or such a large pool on accomodation like it. Would go back to Fuerteventura any time and will be definitely staying at the same place. It was great as it was only about 10 mins walk to the main town and this was good exercise home after an evening of over indulgence. Felt totally safe walking back up to the apartments as Fuerteventura has the best street lighting i have ever seen on Holiday. BRILL all round

Good economy family holiday

great holiday and value for money. Would return. The swimming pool was great for our 3 year old and the slide was perfect. Only down side was no air conditioning in rooms, however after a few days we didn't really notice it. Food was good and we ate at there for every lunch time. We had one meal in the evening which was very pleasant but liked to try the other restaurants in town the other nights. The nearby water park is a must and was the main reason for our return this year. Would recommend taking a taxi into town as is a long walk with a 3 year old. Beach was a bit far away but we didn't discover the sand dunes which may have been closer. Overall very pleasant and would return - great value for money.
