I wouldn't say the hotel is the problem, it was just the fact that I booked through Expedia. Very horrible site to book through. The things I paid for wasn't even in the hotel.

Pros: LaQuinta is pet friendly and that was extremely important for our trip.
Cons: More signage on Route 17.
Fan ventilation system was very noisy, but it kept room comfortable.

It was nice, quiet and convenient for our trip.

Location: Location was good, but bus wasn't easy to get to even though it was close.
The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was hot and good.

Strong unpleasant smell all over. Noisy air conditioning in the room Which switches on and off through the night. Difficult to fall asleep. But generally clean.

Not good

It took me 20min to check in. I was almost charged twice. There was cigarette burns and marks in my room. Other people staying there were loud.

We stayed here as a cheap alternative to staying closer to Yankee Stadium. The price was decent. The location really sneaks up on you when you're driving down route 17 at night. There is only a little sign that is easily missed. HOWEVER, if you look for the "H-o-o-ters" (sorry, for some reason hotels.com feels that spelling out the bar's name is somehow inappropriate language?) sign, the bar is attached right to the hotel, and you can't miss it. The bathroom was not clean, the hallways smelled like someone had literally just had a cigarette (even though our hall was supposedly non-smoking) and the vending machine didn't work. The free breakfast was pathetic. BUT, the beds were comfortable and the location was super convenient to Yankee Stadium. That's all we really needed out of an overnight stay on this trip. If you're looking for something more, you might want to keep looking. We'll stay there every time though whenever we want to hit up a Yankees game.

Great staff, average hotel

Overall the room for a 1 night stay during a business trip had everything I needed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was not particularly quiet and I did experience disturbance from doors banging shut during the late evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
