“Mostly Impressed”

The quaint b&b was very conviniently located to Duval so a taxi or bike are not necessary. The room was very clean and a great size but the bed and pillows were quite hard. We would go back but would bring our own pillows. It also would have been nice if there was a chair in the room so you could sit while putting makeup on. The room was quiet and the a/c and fan were able to keep the room cool and comfortable. The inn keepers were nice and breakfast was always good. While in Key West make sure you see the shows at 801 Duval also referred to as 801 Burbon. It's only $10.00 to get into the 9:00 p.m. show and if you go to the 9:00 p.m. you get into the 11:00 p.m. free. The "girls" there are SO funny and friendly! The best restaurant we found was El Siboney at Catherine St. and Margaret St. It's a small Cuban place which has fantastic food with large portions that is not expensive.

“Amazing, perfect B&B”

La Pensione was great from the time my girlfriend and I checked in to the time we left. The room was affordable, very clean and comfortable. There was an AC unit right in the room that keep it extremely cold if we wanted, making coming back to the room at night extremely pleasant. The king size bed was very comfortable and everyone that work there was very polite and helpful with all our needs. It was close, but not too close to Duval. No problems with noise. This was both our first times in Key West and when we go back, we will definitetly being staying at La Pensione.

“Key West B&B”

Very nice B&B about 3 block from Duval St. Quiet area and away from the crowds on Duval, but close enough to walk everywhere. Inn Keepers were very nice and helpful with suggestions/things to do/places to go/eat etc Small pool but cool and clean and relaxing. Comfortable bed (Room #1) Parking for your car which is key.

“Loved it!!!”

It was a wonderful place to stay, it was really clean and well taken care of, the breakfast was great and the staff were so helpful and nice, my husband and I loved the fact that there was no TV , we did not miss it at all...We cant wait to go back later this year.

Very nice B&B. Great location. You can basically walk everywhere you want to go.

“Not for the noise sensitive”

Our room was lovely however we checked out after one night even though we had paid for two as it was so noisy from 1) the all night street traffic, 2) the all night music and 3) the all night rooster crowing that we got no sleep. We had room 9 which is right over the street. If you aren't bothered by noise this is a fun and lovely place to stay.

“Key West Delight”

La Pensione B & B is a really nice bed and breakfast. We have been there two times now, and are never disappointed. It is within walking distance of about everything that we like to visit. No T.V. s though. It has a wonderful breakfast -I love their waffles.

“Key West experience”

Key West is delightful, but a tad warm (85 average) in mid-May. But it was easy to get around, relatively inexpensive, and thorougly enjoyable. Just make sure you fly home on the same airline your reservations are for -- our tickets were sold to another airline and we ended up having to tote our bags a couple extra blocks in Miami and Philly.

“A great place to stay in Key West”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Pensione. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Garry, in particular, was a wealth of information and made great suggestions about things to do and see while I was there. He recommended that I visit the Dry Tortugas if I was able. I took his advice (he booked the trip for me, too) and it was an awesome experience. Breakfast is more than adequate - bagels, fruit, cereal, waffles. No, there are no TVs in the rooms, but who needs one? It's Key West! (They do have wi-fi, however.) There is some noise from Truman Avenue, but I got used to it after the first day. Overall a great experience!
