“Harbor Village at Hawk Key Resort”

We went on a family trip and rented 3 bungalows. We got them at the Harbor Village at the canal. We noticed that not all the bungalows are of the same standards and quality. We had a very nice, clean and updated bungalow but one of the other bungalows was not that nice. I guess you have to get lucky or ask ones you check in. The other good thing was that Expedia lets you rent the bungalows for 2 night versus the Resort has a 3 night minimum stay. The Hotel (reception and pool) is nice, it has been renovated since last time we came. The breakfast buffet is expensive so you want to take some breakfast and coffee and have it in the bungalow.

“It was great!”

Everything was just great. The only thing not so positive was that we had a breakfast table in the middle of the room and not at the window or on the outside and the floor was a little bit dirty but not really.

It's a resort, so I guess you stay inside of the resort, their is not much else on duck island.

“Great First Experience”

It's a great resort. I stayed at one of the villas in Sunset Village and it was very clean and modern. The rooms were quite small and so were the bathrooms, but it was great for us. The porch was screened in so we didn't have to worry about the mosquitos. At check in they made me aware that they authorize $200 a day on your card and it is return 3 to 5 days afterwards.

“Not Impressed”

I rented a Villa, and it was not a very good condition. the shower was broken, and the beds were very uncomfortable. On 4 days we did not have any housekeeping service. all the restaurants and bar were close at 10 pm, and was really nothing to do at night.

“Nicely Undated”

We were here a few years ago before the renovation and I was very pleased with the upgrades. The resort looks beautiful and the service was excellent. We were dissappointed with our cottage, it was dated with several broken features and mold in the bath. I know the cottages are owned by individual owners, but I think this was very low quality for the price. The cottage we were in 5 years ago was MUCH nicer. The overall resort is excellent.

Go to Marathon and eat at Key Fisheries. Can't go wrong!

“Perfect location in the Keys”

This resort was outstanding for our family vacation. Kids activities, nice layout, shuttle service. Not a "spring-break"-er party central sort of place, but perfect for a relaxing vacation.

Family-friendly activities

Kids Club was a real bonus - not overly expensive, and a quality experience for our 5yo.

“Great Location”

Front desk personnel needs to be advised of the rules. We'll come back but if we have a trailered boat will go to another hotel that offers parking and launch included in the rate.
