“It was okay.”

The continental breakfast was out of food half an hour before it was supposed to be over (and no one was going to make any more food for a large portion of the guests who wanted to enjoy the breakfast as late as possible). There were bugs in the hotel room, ants especially in a snack we had purchased the night before. However, the beds were very comfy and the front desk staff were excellent!

I really like the location of this hotel. Two blocks from old downtown (broadway). The pool was clean, the jacuzzi could have been hotter, it was luke warm, not sure what the deal was. Staff was very friendly, the food was good, the rooms clean, the beds very comfortable. A decent place to say for the price. I would stay again.

“Good Enough”

I am a senior in High School and I was visiting NDSU and Concordia with my boyfriend. He wanted somewhere cheap to stay, because it would only be for one night. I wanted something that wasn't a total dump, so we chose the Howard Johnson. He liked how affordable it was, and I liked that it had wi-fi and a pool/hot tub. The room was rather small, but we were there for a minimal amount of time. After exploring Fargo, we got there at 9:00, went swimming for awhile, then took a shower and went to bed. If you're looking for a five star hotel, this isn't it. But if you're just looking for a cheap place to stay (where you don't have to worry about getting STD's or murdered) this fits the bill.

“A great nights rest.”

The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. The free hot breakfast was very tasty.

“Not bad for location and price”

Breakfast was good and included - nothing spectacular - but for a serve yourself it was good. Only problem was the in room tv - the on/off switch was pushed into the tv - so you had to have small fingers to get to it. The hotel is 3 blocks from Stanford Medical center - good choice if you have a loved one in the hospital.

“Hojo Fargo”

Hotel was clean, staff was nice. It was nice to have a resturant and bar within the same building. Conviently located

“Convienent location but needs work”

Was extremely convienent location. Check in staff were great. Pool was closed and unlike my ushual place they dont make any exceptions. There were no 1st floor rooms left and with health issues it was not too easy. The room was non smoking and stunk like smoke so bad I couldnt go near the bathroom. Great pet policy. Was able to bring my big lab mix and there were no problems with her size, though it does cost $10 per pet, a cost I was more than willing to pay. Beds were super hard and woke up hurting pretty bad, but lots of pillows and room was clean. (Aside from smoke smell.) Convienent parking. Not sure what I would do if I had my trailer though.

“Pretty good”

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was about what I expected fairly clean, and quiet. The beds and pillows were really nice. The hot tub was dirty though. All in all it was a pretty good stay.
