“Comfortable, Clean, Older, American owned Drive Up Motel”

Very welcoming hotel. Staff very friendly. Drive right up to room. Continental Breakfast area was very small, but you can take trays back to the room. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was during the winter, snow was on the ground, and they had turned the heat up in the room so that we weren't walking into a chilly room.

“Quiet, clean comfort in NY Finger Lakes region”

Picking an unknown motel/hotel over the internet can be scary. We visit our daughter in NY state several times a year. We've stayed in the $130/up hotels but decided to find something less expensive. The Best Western Marshall Manor was a pleasant surprise. Our room was extremely clean and nicely furnished. Since the motel sits back from the highway, it was also the quietest motel I've ever stayed in. I'm just afraid that everyone else will discover this slightly older, charming motel and there won't be a room next time I need one. As a side note, every time we drove past the expensive hotel, my internal cash register went "cha ching"...$50 saved!!

“Great place to stay in Watkins Glen, Corning NY area”

Nice old fashioned motel outside city limits about midway between Watkins Glen and Corning on 14. Restaurant on site for dinner only. Nearby diner Sugar and Spice is excellent for breakfast if you want more than rolls and coffee complementary in motel. Kind of out in the country, but that means no traffic!

“Not worth it”

This is not a hotel, its a moter lodge. The picture included is the main entrance, their breakfast is a couple kinds of cereal. The rooms are old, the bathroom was gross and outdated. Very disappointed. I thought surely for I'd get a hotel, not moter lodge, towels without stains, and a bathroom without white gunk on the walls. The next night I stayed in a wonderful Hampton Inn for the same price. King Sized Bed, Flat Screen TV, clean bathroom.

“comfortable for a short-term stay”

The hotel is somewhat out of the way from the surrounding communities but, as a result, it is in a quieter location. The staff we dealt with were very helpful and the room was clean. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as I was hoping for, but otherwise we had a comfortable stay. The continental breakfast included was the usual fare, but the breakfast area is extremely small and there are no tables & chairs to sit at. We ate at the restaurant which is a separate building on the hotel grounds which could have better. The service was slow and the food was average. Depending on where we going to in the area, I would stay at the hotel again, but I would drive a few miles to a different restaqurant.

“Ally”

Nice hotel, convenient for Winery travels. Decent continental breakfast, pets are allowed, rooms decent size. We travelled with two adults and one 55 lb dog. Room was big enough for all of us and a cage. Surprised with the cleanliness especially considering pets are allowed. Would stay again...had a good experience.

“Great for pet-owners”

Clean and quiet with plenty of grassy areas for pet-walking. Friendly motel staff. I felt safe there.
