“Edinboro Inn Resort”

Resort should be used lightly here. I am sure lodging in the area is scarce. I picked the first place that came up because I did not think I could find much better. I was there 2 days. The room did not have a garbage can in the main room or the restroom. I requested one twice. I apparently left before it arrived. The control knobs on all controls (blower, heat lamp) were removed, the bathtub and sink stoppers were both gone (if you wanted to take a bath or not continuously run the water tap to shave you're out of luck), and the remote...well lets just say I had to turn the channels at the set. The Inn did have several redeeming qualities, the price was reasonable, the people were pleasant all though they could not find me a garbage can for my room, and the bar/lounge was adequate. (all though my first 2 beer choices were not carried...and they weren't anything exotic.)

“A little old and scruffy”

Absolutly NO hot water on Saturday Morning with a whole houseful of guests. No Apoligies or reasons. Really barebones. They look like they are trying to scrimp on every nickel. NO EXTRAS!

Very poor condition- quiet room, pool looks like it was opened in the last 10 years.

“worst ever”

This hotel was way over-rated with 2 stars. The towels were grey and very thin. There were no creepy crawly things that I saw. the halls were noisy all night. Walls are paper thin as well. We would never stay there again and would never recommend it.

sadly we found the Edinboro Inn very run down, musty, and old...and would not revisit or recommend it to anyone.

This hotel has not had an upgrade in quite some time, although a sign in the lobby states they are in the middle of renovations, I could not see any that had been done. The carpet in my room was very dirty and stained. The bathroom was not bad, it was at least clean. The restaurant in the hotel was closed for the season and the free breakfast they offered consisted of bagels,toast,cereal,coffee and juice. Not very much to choose from at all. I would not stay at this hotel again for the price that was paid.

“Stay away”

This hotel had seen better days [about 20 years ago]. In one word: dingy. Windows are foggy, inside of outside walls had mold,driveway and parking lot was a minefield of potholes. Staff was friendly enough.

“Not Impressed”

The grounds were in poor condition. The heat failed during the night (November stay), and when reported, they did not repir the next day. We had to change rooms to get heat. The furniture and carpets were dirty. Clean bed linen was the only redeeming factor.

“Motel Stay Away”

First let me just say if your not that familiar with the area, and you need a place to stay near Edinboro University, then ok use it. Other than that PLEASE STAY AWAY. The driveway is very dark hard to see from the street. The hallsways are very stuffy. I went in the summer and it was hot in the place. The pool was closed for repair. But I wouldn't trust swimming there anyway. The windows facing a golf course are cracked and taped. At least some are taped.
