“Decent hotel for the price”

An excellent find for the value. Only two drawbacks: I could easily overhear the conversation in the room next door, as well as any commotion that occurred in the hall ways; and the first floor of the hotel is extremely smoky. Luckily, we stayed on the third floor so we only noticed it when we exited and entered the building, but I would advise requesting a room not on the first floor if you don't smoke.

“Good value, Livingston area.”

This Ramada is a basic hotel amongst some big box stores on a major shopping route. The rooms/baths are a bit small. The room HVAC unit is noisy and blows the curtains up but only needed to use briefly on a cold weekend. Brightly-lit outside onto huge parking area but drapes darken rm fully. Abutting parking spaces poorly cleared of ice (likely due to guest cars in them when area was plowed). Full buffet breakfast with self-made waffles on weekend. Bacon alternates with sausage so if you like bacon take some the first day, you may not get another chance. Breakfast served in attached sports bar. Even after SuperBowl it was fine the next morning--e.g., no beer smell. Room cleanliness acceptable. Nothing to write home about but if you need to be in the area, visiting family/business etc. By comparison it's a good value--especially with an Expedia coupon.

“Great, but not perfect”

The check-in staff were great. The parking and layout is great. The room was very good but did not have a mini-frig. I pay for biz travel myself. I got this room at a special price, I hope I can stay there in the future.

“For a smoker who needs a hotel room, it'll do...”

Not a lot of hotels for smokers in the area, so if you need a place to crash and you smoke, this hotel offers a decent accomodation for the price. NOT a place to have your wedding. NOT a place to go for a vacation. When we pulled in on a Friday night, the Sports Bar/Night club in the lobby was pretty busy and a lot of young people were hanging around outside and in the lobby, smoking, making noise, etc... We felt reasonably safe but the room was pretty dirty (and the smoking section seemed like it had been somewhat more neglected than the rest of the place)

“Nothing Special”

Not a terrible hotel, but not ideal for business travel. Bed was firm, linens where clean. Window looked out to a police station, kind of weird.

“Service was great but...”

As mentioned above, service was great but, room smelled alot. We had non smoking room. Room was so loud that I could understand the next door. Location was very nice. next to Costco and target and several other nice chain restrauants.

“Smelly Hotel”

The room smelled terribly and was dirty. Had to be moved to another room which was only a bit better. The hotel just smells.
