“It does what it says on the tin”
Great location, close to the seafront and town centre. Views of the sea are within a minutes walking distance. Plenty of bars and restaurants very close by as well as a convenience shop on the corner. The room was small but for what we wanted it was fine. Very clean bathroom. Staff were very friendly and happy to accomodate our needs. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Also easy to get out of Bournemouth into Poole or down the coastline.

Really lovely, would definitely chose the Claremont for our next stay in Bournemouth. Really comfy bed!
“Why I would recommend and stay there again.”
Was surprised to get clean towels neatly layed on the bed each day, and a chocolate. Breakfast starts at 08.30 and I had to be at a conference by 08.45 on the first morning of my stay. I asked if I could have breakfast earlier anticipating I would be told no. I was asked when I would like it, said 08.00 and was immediately told "no problem". At 08.00 I had a breakfast that would have put many of the international five star hotels I have stayed in to shame. It was really excellent.
“Very friendly owner and a very comfortable hotel”
Adam Arif the owner of the hotel was very friendly ad had a 15 min conversation with me even though I arrived at 9:15 pm. Very welcoming and the room I was given was great for the price I had paid. Very conveniently located as well ..beach is 5 mins walking from the hotel.
“Off-season stay”
We stayed here during the off-season and got the impression the usual staff must have been on holiday, there was usually nobody to be seen except at breakfast time. Breakfast was pretty good. The location is very convenient, close to the centre, several restaurants nearby and the BIC/Pavilion theatre only a short walk away.
“dont stay here”
i thouht this kind of hotel had gone in thw 1970's, this place is a dump, the floors creaks, you can hear everything from other rooms, the room didnt have a shower or a toilet, how is that possible in 2012? the shower was freezing anyway, i went toa local gym and got showered there. the wall paper is coming off the walls in several places, the whole place need to refurbed, plus the carpets, OMG it really is a throw back to the daus of seaside B&B
