“Will never go there again”
The toilet was not clean The toilet seat was falling apart. The painted on the tiles in the bathroom was peeling off. There were mould spores on the bath mat. A sign on the window stated it should be locked when leaving the room. The window lock was broken so it could not be locked. We shut the window and when we returned it had been left open by the cleaning staff. There was a lot of noise from the hotel lounge until the early hours of the morning. The sink and bath were dirty with mould spores along the bath seal and in the tile grout. A very unpleasant experience.
“cheap drinks”
Restaurant had a promotion 10 drinks for 12. This probably affected everything. We did not sleep the whole night! There is not sound isolation at all. We listened arguing of 3 (?) people in the next room till 3 am. Snoring from the other neighbouring room did help to get asleep either. I do not understand why this hotel has 3 stars. The bathroom was awful. The door is not locking itself you have to use a key. The window was small and dirty. Phone did not work. But there was a new LCD TV of a decent size and the bed was ok too.

Area:
North Devon Coast, England, United Kingdom: The east of this varied coastline features the deep combes (wooded valleys) of Exmoor, which plunge down to the sea, most dramatically at Lynton and Lynmouth. Westward are traditional English seaside towns with long sandy beaches (Ilfracombe, Woolacombe). Beyond the characterful towns of Barnstaple and Bideford, Clovelly is a picture-book, whitewashed fishing village, while Hartland Point is known for its dramatic, storm-battered cliffs.
