“The hotel is filthy and is not 3 star accommodation”
Seven family members were looking forward to a wonderful stay of seven nights in Delhi at this hotel. We had booked many months earlier and our expectations were of a clean and safe hotel relying on the 3 star expedia rating. It was filthy with stains over the bedclothes, old air conditioning units which were falling off the wall, and the smell and dust was horrible. We were unable to continue our stay at this hotel and had to pay for new accommodation.
“Good, quiet location, indeed needs refurbishing”
Staff helpful, and rooms not so bad as per other reviews. Anyway, toilet seat was dirty... On a quiet, safe place in Delhi, which is not easy for an hotel of this price...
“3* , I don't think so, more like a 1 star.”
"Hotel" was only just a 1 star certainly not a 3 star, rooms were large but, dirty, with poor fittings, and very dodgy electrics ! However, the sheets were clean and the bed comfortable, and plenty of hot water. The owners were very nice and helpful, shame the rooms let them down.
“If you are in a Budget”
This hotel is alright if you are in a budget. The room and the bed are clean but the bathroom is a bit old and is not so clean.
“Not impressed!!!”
Not impressed with this place at all! It cannot be a 3* hotel. The bedrooms are in a very poor state, bathrooms as well. The picture of the bedroom is misleading. Had I not pre-paid I would not stay there.
“Don't Be deceived by their glamorous wedbsite”
We stayed in this hotel 1 night before we went off on our tour of Rajastan and 2 nights on our return. When we initially arrived we were put into a room, which was fairly large, but the bathroom was dirty and there was no toilet paper, we enquired about why the room looked so dramatically different from the website and they really didnt have a clue what I was talking about. But we thought seeing as it is for one night we would put up with it but on the return journey would would demand to see our room before we moved all our things in. On the return, we were given a 'better' room. There was still no evidence of a complete refurbishment (the question should have been asked as to WHEN this took place, maybe 1980). Trendy furnisher? Satellite connection? Electronic Safe? Tea and Coffee Maker? Hairdryer? Mini bar? all described on their website as features of each room, yet all very phantom. Although on the plus side, we were located well between the airport and central Delhi. And the 24 hour room service was infact true, and a blessing. We were coming and going and unsocialble hours and the hotel was very accomodating. They also booked all of our taxi's for us. I think my comments are negative as my expectations were very high, for what we paid, and what we had read on the thoteles.net website. Had we not thought it was going to be a 4-star hotel I think the review would have been a lot more favourable.
“Schijn bedriegt!”
Mijn vriendin en ik wilden na een lange rondreis door India in een wat luxer hotel verblijven. Op de website van Expedia zagen de kamers van T Home hotel er zeer modern uit en dat voor een schappelijke prijs. Daar aangekomen werden we in een vieze oude kamer geplaatst (bed was niet eens verschoond) waar nog net geen kakkerlakken liepen. Na ons beklag te hebben gedaan bij de receptie kregen we een andere kamer aangeboden die nog slechter was. Na te hebben gedreigd met het hotel te verlaten, kregen we een kamer aangeboden die wij inderdaad op de website van Expedia hebben gezien. Het hotel is absoluut geen aanrader en voor die prijs kan je in India c.q. New Delhi heel riant in een mooi en schoon hotel zitten.
