“Ok just the menu”

The hotel is nice and for people who loves nightlife is one of the best spots in Dallas. I just suffer for a lack o vegetarion or vegan options in the menu.

“Dallas W”

For a high end hotel we were not impressed and would choose to spend our money else where in the future. We would most likely NOT stay in this hotel for future visits to Dallas.

“Stay somewhere else...”

While the W Dallas is hip and trendy (as all of them are), the rooms are poor and overpriced. The rooms (at least the "wonderful" and "spectacular" versions) are small and offer no privacy whatsoever. The door immediately opens into the bathroom where you have an open shower (no tub), half encased by glass. Essentially, if anyone is showering or dressing, you can't open your door. The bathroom itself is only seperated from the main room by a curtain, so you can see and hear everything that goes on in it. The first room we were given had a broken air conditioner, broken chair, and heavily stained sheets. The second had a heavily stained carpet, broken door, and a sheet with bright red blood all over it. Disgusting. Room service is mediocre and charged us for things we did not order twice, and the pool is packed all day and closes way too early. The guest services staff were all very polite, but could not make up for the huge disappointments elsewhere...

“Way overpriced”

Rooms are tiny and poorly configured for the price. The food and drinks are mediocre and way overpriced. Have stayed in better hotels in the downtown dallas area for half the price. Nice pool but the bar service there is terrible.

“Won't be Back”

Upon pulling up to the W, I thought I was in the wrong place, as the doormen were wearing sunglasses (at 10pm), and dancing to deafening music coming from the bar adjacent to the lobby desk. When I attempted to check in, the hotel had run out of rooms with two queen beds (even though I called ahead earlier that day to ensure my reservations were all set), and my friend and I ended up having to share a bed! The manager explained (yelling over the music) that my reservations weren't even guaranteed, even though I had pre-paid, and called ahead. Boo! I expect much better service from an expensive hotel, and will not be going back to "Club" W Hotel. If you are travelling with kids, don't even think about staying here! It is not worth the money, no matter how you look at it.

“our Anniversary stay at the W”

For an upscale hotel, was not impressed. You enter through what looks like a side door from valet, no one there to open the door, while carrying your own bags. I told the desk clerk that we had paid for the "Spectacular" view and it was our 20th anniversary, with that said, we rec'd the lowest possible floor for that view, which was 9th. Walked in the room to the bathroom. This is the most disturbing layout...the bathroom is completely open to the door and the room. Glass shower out in the open, so if someone comes to the door, you get a free show. Also open to the room, you close a curtain for privacy...wondering who thought this up. One sink with little room for toiletries and freestanding, never could find a plug. I paid for two rooms, so was really disappointed. Upon checking out we rec'd a bill. Then they ran through all kinds of random dollar amounts on our card. Had to email many times to get this removed from our debit card. I travel much on business and thought that this was one of the worst hotels for the cost that I have ever stayed.

“Not impressed -Disappointed Guest”

This is the worst 5***** Hotel by far, the bed was most uncomfortable for the price the rooms should have been bigger, there was a sound of a window being open all night, could not sleep because of all the drunks getting off the elevator, dim lights at the elevator, dim lights in the hallway, not a good eclectic move, the comforter that was on the bad had more snaggs that my worst set of sheets I have at home, lastly for two (small bottle of sprits) 36.00 are they crazy, one no where to eat, and lastly the breakfast for two was $75.00 for eggs toast and bacon. No towels after you swim, we waited over 90 min for a towel. Just a nightmare, would not waste the money, The Ghost bar was completely over rated!
