“Disappointing”
The hotel promises a lot but fails to deliver. On the negative front is the location the wrong side of the river for the pubs, restaurants, shops etc until the new bridge opens. In addition the reception staff were the most uninterested of all those I have ever encountered in Asia. Not rude just uninterested no queries about your stay, room, quality of sleep, how you day was, journey.
This was in contrast to the restaurant staff who were very good and the breakfast and service a highlight.
Room was adequate, old style TV, poor air con, window that did not shut correctly but clean if smelling of smoke. Four internet seats only two computers of which one worked.
In summary an adequate hotel that is let down by the service of staff, location and little touches. If these were improved with the opening of the bridge it may be worth staying until then there are better hotels at a lesser price available.
