“Albany's Best Place to Stay”

Free Breakfast was really a breakfast, not just dry toast and a doughnut. Waffles, fruit, several drinks and much more. Pool open 24 hours which is great if you have kids and are busy during the day and want to swim early or late as the pool is indoors. Staff met every need with a smile and prompness.

“Great Customer Service and Clean Property”

My original check in was delayed due to cancelled flights. The hotel staffed worked with Expedia to waive the penalties and change my reservation to the next day. I was very pleased that both the hotel and Expedia worked so hard to accomodate during that hectic night! I arrived at the hotel the next morning and was allowed an early check-in. Again, very accomodating service from the friendly staff. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The whole property was very nicely decorated and maintained. I would definately stay again! I had a great rate and was nicely surprised with the quality and service at the hotel.

“All pretty good except the shower”

worst hotel shower head I have ever experianced, no water pressure, and the different spay settings did not work, also only 1 light in that area of the bathroom making it very cave like

“Alternative when Eugene is booked.”

Some traffic noise. Minor repair items in room (towel bar fell down, broken vent knob on heater.) Nice comfortable beds & quilts. Clean. Looked like nice indoor pool, but did not take advantage of it. Price somewhat high do to two major college football games that night. Very good full breakfast. This was the only motel I could find with vacancies a few days before football games. This is the second time I have stayed here.

The room was fine, small room for breakfast, felt the carpets could be cleaned up, outside the side door lots of cigarette butts. Staff was very good !!

“Someone smoked in our room while we were out.?!”

The front end staff were friendly but the facility was not what I expected based on stays at other La Quinta locations. We had a basement level room and the carpet on the basement wall side of the bed felt damp the two days we were there. Leak in the wall from recent rains? Possible. We also came back to our room on Saturday and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. We don't smoke and the room did not smell like smoke before we left earlier in the day. I asked if any cleaning staff members smoked and I was told no. However, later that day, I saw a grounds keeper/maintenanace man on premises smoking, so I am wondering if he was in our room while we were gone. If he was in our room, why? The day we checked in, the same guy was leaving our room just as we came around the corner at check in. He may have had a reason then but after we took occupancy? I think not. That is a tad creepy that someone should enter our room who has no business being in there.
